And it told me that my net calorie goal should be 1,300 and I just had lunch and I'm already at a negative net calorie for the day =(
I weight about 210 lbs and I think I need about 2800-2900 calories to maintain my weight. My goal is to reach 165 lbs. How can I possibly only consume that much calorie. Unless I spend the next 2 to 3 hours jogging around the neighborhood and of course skip dinner! I don't think this goal is realistic... >.<

That makes no sense. Are you sure you didn't plug in your numbers wrong by mistake? I use the mobile app, I weigh 139 and my calories for a half lb. Per week weight loss is 1350. I'm not sure where you would be if you put in a 2 lb per week loss...maybe that is it? There shouldn't be a difference between website and app since the sync.
Also, if you know your maintenance calories, just deduct 500 calories from that. You can figure 10-12 calories per lb of body weight and you should lose. So 2100 calories?

I'm guessing something was entered wrong. Did you mistake it as you had that much left over?
I love the mobile app... never had a problem and perfect for entering on the go. |

The app should synch with whatever you have set on the webpage. It should not be different if you have it set up online. I do most all online but it should be no different. as everyone else said I would check the info that was entered. Your caloric intake should be more given your current weight unless you wanted to lose some unhealthy amount of weight a week. I find it a little rough to do all the admin things from the app. I use the web application for all that. I mainly use the app for the scanning feature which is a true timesaver.

The app has a scanning feature?
Just looked it up. I never knew what that icon was next to the search box. All I knew is every time I touched it, my app would crash. I'm using a tablet so maybe my tablet doesn't support scanning.

You might want to go back and check your bio settings and make sure you set-up right. 1,300 is way to low for your Basic Metabolic Rate {what you burn just breathing}. You should be around 1904-2206 {depending on your height}. Make sure you are double checking the serving sizes and compare the package data to the MFP data until you are sure they correspond.
@kazzari if you have a smartphone then when you go to the add to diary you see a magnifying glass and next to it a barcode with a line, press the barcode icon and aim your camera at the package bar code.

What I have entered appears to be correct. Even trying it online on this website gives me the same result. Might be a bug but thanks to Kazzari, it occurred to me that I can set my goal manually so I went ahead and set it to 2100. Now I can have dinner! Yay! =)

And not sure if we're allowed to put links in our entries or not but here's a screenshot of my profile:

I have a feeling mine doesn't support it and that is why I get a Force Close message whenever I hit the UPC icon. What I didn't know wasn't hurting me, but now that I know what I'm missing, I'm bummed ;).

If your goal was 1300 then 2300 should be your maintenance amount if you selected 2lbs. Adjusting it to 2100 will make you lose almost half a pound a week. |

This needs to be on the Tablet 1st before you can use the feature
