Good evening.
I just received an upgrade to the Android app, and now the weekly net calories is inaccurate. After exercise (and food through tomorrow 5/18/12) I have 1,488 calories I haven't eaten. Add Saturday and Sunday at 1,470 for each day and my weekly should show I'm 4,428 under my weekly goal. Right now it shows I'm 298 calories under my weekly goal.
I absolutely love the weekly goal function (wish you'd implement it for the PC version) and hope this will be fixed.

I am having a simliar error. It has changed every weekly from the correct number to something random. I was burning 3500-1750 a week and it changed everything ti say around 200-500

I have a feeling that they change the number to reflect the AVERAGE weekly total . . . which I DO NOT LIKE!!
MFP - PLEASE make this an option or REVERT to the previous method . . . some users (like myself) have come to rely on that number and NOW it's gone - thanks for ruining my week :(

It is the average amount you are under your daily goal for the week. I certainly agree that the other number was more useful, especially on Saturday and Sunday. Now I have to do all sorts of math to make sure my average for the week is at or below target. It annoys the heck out of my wife too.

I'm sure the weekly total is quite useful. But I have a question: how many sorts of math are you doing to get your number? I just add up all my days and subtract them from my weekly goal of 11,970.
Mine seems to be working fine on the Android app. I don't check the weekly total very often because I'm usually on the computer and it's easy enough to just add up the totals myself, but as of right now, everything looks correct.

The app is great because you don't have to be in front of your computer . . . I never use the web site unless the app is broke, which sadly has been more often lately :-(

I think the wording changed to "net calories under weekly goal." I think it used to say "total calories under They always posted the "net" information on the app and the online version, but I too prefered the former report. I'm totally confused now and came to rely heavily on the function in its previous form. Definitely a bummer. I hope they change it or give options of how users would like to view the weekly data.

I just came here to report this as well. Its telling me I am 385 net calories under weekly goal, when I have over 600 left on sunday alone! If it has been changed to the average you are under that is not helpful! Please change it back! I rely on that number!
Either that or have them both.

I really wish I hadn't updated now I don't know what to do this week :/ I always look at my number weekly and I can't just keep repeatedly adding the whole week up every time I exercise or eat

Hi Folks,
Our apologies. The number in the weekly view of the Android app is the result of an error. We will be releasing a bug-fix update soon (once we have a few other bugs solidly squashed).
The number is currently the difference between the daily goal and the average daily NetCalories consumed in the week, but after the bug-fix it will revert to showing the number of NetCalories remaining to meet the weekly NetCalorie goal.
We added a bunch of great features with the update... and accidentally broke a few that were already great. Sorry!

Thanks Steven, I am so glad its an error and not an intentional change! Look forward to things going back to normal.

Thank you for responding, Steven. It's comforting to know you hear us and that a fix is in the works.
Any chances of getting the weekly goal for the PC version as well? Hey, thought I'd at least try. Again. :)
