TOPIC: Calorie Goals!

How do you get in enough calories a day without filling your body full of crap? I eat 5-6 times a day, but I rarely come close to my goal! This is also after I manually lowered my calorie goal because it was set crazy high!

I don't count calories but count carbs instead. I stick to about 20% carbs or around 50-70 grams a day. This means I can have around 1800 calories a day without putting on weight. (sometimes more) I am maintaining after losing nearly 50 pounds. I have been maintaining for 2 months successfully.

We don't need to count cals if we count carbs. I bet you are eating loads of sugars just to get to your calorie goal - that is just crazy. And a recipe for diabetes!! Eat healthy foods such as fats, meat and avoid all sugars and carbs and you will never be hungry and you won't need to worry about calories at all.

by avoiding "low fat", "diet" or "light / lite" versions of foods. Fats and oils give you the most calories per gram or ounce so things like avocado and almonds which are high in oils are good for getting your intake up.
