I just sprained my ankle during Level 2 Day 12, more specifically the high knees exercise. I'll have to resort to swimming until it heals...

I am not Reeeealllly big-but a 34 DD and I am on step 2 of the 30 day shred. My daughter works for Acadmey and she bought me an Under Armour Crossback Sports bra for christmas and IT WORKS! I went back to buy a 2nd one so I don't wear it out, I wear it/wash it every day and even with her discount they are 35.00-but well worth it.

I second the vote for the Under Armour. I'm a G cup so finding bras that fit and support well is always a trial.

I just started using is the Wacoal which I bought off Macy's website for about $50. They are legit. They do the work of 3 lesser bras so they are certainly worth the price of 3 target bras. The support is definitely an upgrade from trying to make multiple bras work. I don't have to hold my chest when I'm jumping ever. I set it and forget it so to speak! :-)

Today was level 1 day 10 for me, so tomorrow i'm starting level 2 but I have to say those last three days have been harder than before for me. Not that I was extremely sore or aching but I really had harder times at doing the side lunges, I feel like my arms are now starting to build muscle and burn the fat, maybe that's why !
I haven't taken a break and wasn't planning to, but maybe I should take one day off in between level 1 and level 2 ? I don't know because actually I feel like my body is asking for the workout everyday lol !

This thread is so motivating. On D4L1 and this is what I need to keep going. You all did an amazing job!

Day 6 Level 1 and I find i have to jog through the jumping jacks now and that last bit of strength part lifting your arms I can barely push through they burn so much! lol And I am only using 3lb weights. This is usually where I give up...but I will keep coming back here for motivation!

Well finally I did take a day off yesterday and I am glad I did because my body needed it, that is why my arms were hurting more than usual.
I started level 2 today and I have to say i didn't find it that hard except for the last cardio and abs exercises of the last circuit, they were HELL, i had to stop halfway through the plank and abs because i was starting to have a side stitch :(

Has anyone still had success running in place for most of the cardio that involves any jumping movements? I am extremely well endowed and even wearing 2 bras it causes me pain to do the jumping cardio. Any suggestions or success with doing other cardio?

I have similar problems, i am also 'top heavy' and if I am running I will wear 3 bra's and it makes all the difference in the world, this is my system;
-first bra (on skin) should be a cotton light underwire molded cup bra (Body by Victoria is fantastic)
-2nd bra (1st layer) Nike sports bra with sections for your boobs, they have a runners bra that has serious engineering and ventilation.
-3rd bra (outer layer) Regular cotton uni-boob sports bra (Everlast or Adidas are pretty good) the reason why its important for the outer layer bra to be the uni-boob one is that it will literally seal you up (think kevlar boobs) so they should not move at all after the last layer and could possibly be bullet proof. :-)))) hope this helps!!

I just looked up best bras for this department from Runners World and ordered the one they suggested was the favorite among women of our cup size. I will be getting it in a few days and will update if it is the bra dreams are made of :)

Thanks for the tip! I had no idea there was a bra section on the Runner's World website!

Your results are all so inspiring!
I'm not guna lie, I did Insanity, Brazil Butt Lift, and am in week 3 of P90x so I didn't think 30 day shred was guna be intense but it was actually harder than everyone thinks it'd be! I didn't sweat much but my heart was pumpin more :D
I wanted something else to add in to P90x that would burn extra calories, so I am hoping my results are as good as all of yours! Thanks for the extra motivation! All I have is a lil fat on my triceps and lower abdominals that I can't seem to get gone, so I was starting to lose motivation. It may be loose skin, cause I used to weigh 234 but now weigh 138...I'm hoping not though. :)

L2D3 done, i still have a hard time at the last cardio and abs circuit, it is really hell for me because I hate the jump rope and the plank abs are awful ;'(
But today I used my 2kg (5lbs) dumbbells instead of my 1.5kg (3lbs) ones for most of the exercises except the "v chair squats" so that's an improvement i guess.
I wanted to add the ripped in 30 program as of today in complement but I heard there are plenty of plank exercises for ripped in 30 so that may be a bad idea lol.

Today is level 2 day 3 for me. I really hate the plank exercises. I cant wait to see the results!

WOW!!! Just finished L1D8, and i did L2D1 tonight...........have to say I sweat like a pig! lol I find I like the cardio part more than level 1... i personally HATE jumping jacks... the only thing i had to jog on was the double jumprope.. I hate those too!! I can't for the life of me imagine myself doing the faster version of the planks though.. that poor girl in the video! lol

I have just done day 5 of the 30DS and I have to say that this thread has been my inspiration, so thank you everyone for being brave enough to post your pictures!

I weighed myself this morning and I have gained 3 pounds which disheartened me, but then I measured my waist and I've lost half an inch! :)

I'm not going to do it tomorrow as I'm working 12 hours and I also appear to have pulled a muscle in my back.

But way to go everyone!

so i'm on L2D7 (D17 total), and I have to say I see NO DIFFERENCE, i'm really disappointed because I'm doing all the exercises without stopping except for the last abs of level2 (i take one break in between), i weighed myself and i am at the same point that I was, i see no difference in the mirror/pictures either.. i'll finish it because i don't want to stop since i'm more than halfway through it but i hope to see results when i'll start level3 at least because i eat healthy aside (not too much, not too less) and i also walk 30minutes 3/4 times a week.
July 13, 2012 7:09 AM
I did 30 days of Level 3 (5 days/week for 6 weeks)...I finished about 3 weeks ago & I took my before & after measurements - I only lost 5 lbs, but I lost 12.5 total inches!! I didn't feel like I looked any different at all & my clothes didn't really feel any different, but I was amazed that I lost that many inches!! Keep going with it & you will eventually see a difference.
Now I try to do 30DS Level 3 at least 3 times/week & do cardio the rest of the week. Trying to maintain now & don't want to lose any of the muscle definition I gained while doing 30DS.

I know I'm getting ahead of myself, but what did you guys do when you finished? I heard a lot of people moved on to Ripped in 30 or even Insanity (which TERRIFIES me!)?
