TOPIC: iPhone app not working right

Hi, last night I couldn't update a recipe on my phone through the app and today when I was out and about I wasn't able to search the database through the app using either wi-fi or my data plan. Nothing new happened with my phone so it has to be on the app side. Any clue? (mine is syncing fine-just those features aren't working).

Just checked and I can update recipes now but still can't search the database.

Sorry for the delay in our response.

The best first step to solving any strangeness with one of our apps is to "force close" it. I'll include instructions below for force closing on iPhone or iPad. If you're using different app, please let us know and we'll provide instructions for that device as well.

To completely close the app, first leave the app by pressing the hardware Home button (the circle with the white square inside of it).

Then, double-click the hardware Home button. A row of application icons should appear on the bottom of the screen. Scroll through them and find MyFitnessPal, then hold your finger on the icon until the icons start to jiggle and a "-" appears. Tap on the "-" to completely close the app. Then press the home button once more to settle things back to normal. Finally, relaunch the app.

Steven, I did do the force close when some friends said they weren't having any issues and it's been working fine since. Sorry I didn't come back and post that answer! Thanks though!
