It would be absolutely lovely if we had an easier time of tweaking or changing a recipe. For example, right now, if I wanted to change the amount on an ingredient, I would literally have to delete the ingredient and then search for it in the database...again. It would be lovely if I could just click on the name of the ingredient and change the quantity with a little pop-up window just like we can do with individual foods in our diary.
Also, a lot of my recipes are actually building blocks for other recipes....it would be lovely, if when adding an ingredient, we had the ability to choose one of our existing recipes as an ingredient.
Any possibility of either of these things happening any time soon?

^I concur. I cook A LOT--and dishes with lots of ingredients. It is THE most frustrating thing for me when tracking calories. If the Recipe Builder could have more functionality, that would be awesome. Another suggestion would be to create a list of often used ingredients like there is a list of often eaten foods. Thanks for considering for us home cooks!

They really do need to work more on the recipe builder so I agree with this request

Great idea about using a recipe in a recipe! Love it! Also, if we could "save as" a new, tweaked recipe without losing the old....omg, I would start logging again! (I've had to stop b/c it was just getting way too time consuming)
Please!!! Please please! with healthy, homemade dairy-free whipped cream and an organic fresh cherry on top! |

The 'save as' recipe feature is exactly was this site needs! I have so many v.1, v.2, v.3 recipes in my folder with slight (but imporant calorie wise) differences and it takes forever to keep having to input ALL of the ingredients again! Please make this change!
