Hi I have a question not asked yet, at least not that i have been able to find.

I'm a breast feeding mom. Now I know that my little one is eating up calories no pun indented :o)
Is there no way of counting that? Be cause I have to do that about 10 times a day. And I know I am suppose to intake more calories in place for that. ????
Thanks Julie

Breast feeding

Hi,

I saw your post and this is what I found:

Go to the "Community" tab. In the box next to the green "search" button, type in breast feeding. It will give you 31 threads where breast feeding is discussed by members.

Mike, the webmaster, may not have any personal experience with breast feeding! But many members have discussed it at length in the posts.

Good luck!

~Cheryl

I want to just type in food breakdowns into my menu database so it will just subtract and give me my total. I do not always need to put in the food product. How do I do this.

Please describe further what you are asking. What are "food breakdowns"? What do yo mean by "my menu database"? And what is it you are wanting to "subtract"?

Still can't get the reports part to work, nor the button that says-to complete the days entry. Also, when entering new foods not listed in the site, nothing happens. Also, it doesn't refigure the exercise according to time. Help! Chris.

Hi Mike:

I love your website. I am still having trouble getting my profile to publish. I fill out the form and save it and nothing happens. My photo did upload....so I may be getting closer.

Aside from the above issue, I completely love your website. I have found that journaling about the foods I eat and the amount of exercise I have completed has always motivated me.

Here's one. Is there a place that states what we should not talk about on this site? i didn't find it on the FAQ page.

I am new to the program, but really like it so far. What if I don't eat all my allotted calories for the day ? Will this inhibit me from losing weight ? I work out hard and consistent, but I don't lose pounds. My trainer and other health professionals tell me I don't eat enough. So please tell me if I have to eat all the calories your program indicates in order to lose pounds.

Why isn't there a way to share my daily menu publicly? We can't see each others food for the day.

Love the site! Is there a way to "hide" my age on my profile?
Thanks!

Hi
I'm still new to this site and to using message boards, but I love mfp. I've already introduced several friends and relatives to mfp because I think it has so many great features, is user friendly and FREE. Thank you!
I do have a question. My husband has also become interested in mfp, but can't log on because we have the same e-mail address. Since he's retired and no longer has e-mail at work, he just uses mine. Is there some way for him to set up his own mfp account or to register his own user name even though we share the same e-mail?
Again, many thanks!

Hey all, just wanted to remind everyone that there's a special category called "technical support/need help" where you can post new threads to ask specific questions that aren't answered here, and that way you may get more feedback if people see your topic title and have an answer. Just putting questions under this thread isn't getting to everyone because alot of us have already read the FAQ's and don't check it out that often. Just a thought! :)

Thanks. I think I had clicked on Help and then Tech Support which directed me to FAQ. But then I never went back to Tech Support. If I understood correctly, I should start a new topic or thread under Tech Support and I'll try that now. Thanks for the help. I feel like a Neanderthal at times as I learn to navigate message boards.
