Sadly, you cannot set up MFP to have two diaries on one email. It sucks, but it's the way it is right now.
The only solution I can see is you of you guys setting up a Gmail (Google Email) account. It's free, and they're easy to make.

I'd suggest just each having your own account. As long as it's free, why not?

What my daughter and I do to avoid having to log out and in every time for both of us is I have my account on Internet Explorer, and she has hers on Firefox. That way we can both be logged in at the same time on the same computer. Not exactly what you were asking, but it makes things a lot simpler. :)
