Just wondering why when I enter what I did for strength training, I did a body pump class at the gym. It doesn't give me a spot for calories burned, and I know that effects how much I should eat for the day. I figure I burn at least 400 calories. How does that work?

My gym does a Body Pump class and in the spring they had attendees of the group classes log their calories burned that were determined from heart rate monitors. After a few weeks they calculated all of the entries and posted averages for each class. The average for the Body Pump class was 470. Of course that is determined by how much effort and at what weights you are using.

I hope that gives you some insight. : )
