I am pretty good all week then the weekend comes and I blow it again, only to start Monday morning again and do it all over again. How do you survive weekends, without going off plan?

afraid im in the same boat as you there! do soo good during the week, plenty of water, fruit and exercise then come friday - sunday all the good work can go to waste! I try to eat at home rather than eat out with friends even it means sitting there and not eating while your friends tuck into the ribs, burgers, chicken etc.

Weekends do seem to be the hardest but you can overcome it. Plan ahead if you're going out to eat. Get something that you won't feel guilty about later. Moderation is the key. But hell, everyone can take a break every once in a while. Just don't make a habit of it! Good Luck!

Was just dealing with this myself! Keep logging your food to keep yourself motivated. I am new too! When I want to eat something now I think about it first, Then I jump on here to keep on track. I really want to see my numbers (weight) go down, Keep some healthy snack choices around. Nothing like some roasted walnuts and fresh blueberries. If you have to eat something.....eat it, enjoy it and log it. Burn it off with some exercise.

go out of your house..... walk / window shop ....or make a big amount of (cabbage) soup and eat as much as you want from it, but nothing else

I also find weekends hard, however the longer I've been on here and the more I loose, the more I think twice about my food order or how much alcohol I drink. I don't want to undo all the hard work I've done. Sometimes I save my exercise calories during the week if I know I'm going out in the weekend. Not sure if it's what you're supposed to do but works for me and gives me the freedom of more choices on the weekend.

I am very strict with myself on Tuesdays and Thursdays, trying to eat below calories allotted or earn extra calories from exercise and don't eat them back. Then on the weekends, I allow myself a day or two of eating "extra"--close to my BMR. I still have to watch my intake (calories add up fast, especially pizza and alcohol) but it helps. So far, I haven't gained any back on the weekends, at least...
