I can't make up my mind about 2 and 3, but #1 is Hey Jude by the Beatles. Greatest song ever written- it's the perfect example of a perfect song.

I have a hard time with songs, since what I think is best changes with my moods. However, I have no doubt about the greatest film scores ever written (IMO).
Star Wars and Lord of the Rings (can't choose between the two) Other great ones include: How to Train Your Dragon Star Trek (the new one) The Magnificent Seven |

QUOTE: QUOTE: QUOTE: Cant help but to notice that MOST of the songs listed are from long ago! Just goes to show how BAD music is today compared to those times I hate to say "these kids today", but the music they are growing up listening too can never compare to the 70/80s music! I M O You know how we always seem to have some sort of deep appreciation for the music our parents listened to? It always makes me wonder.... when this decade is just a thing of history... what bands are our children going to recall as "classics" It is a slight shudder at the thought. However I do appreciate Lady Gaga somewhat. oh. I was gonna go with Foo Fighters and Radiohead |

I LOVE your first two choices. Jim Croce is one of my favorites, along with Harry Chapin.
