crazybee - you sound a lot like me ... I really don't have friends that I hang out with, just my family (half of them drive me crazy so I don't see them that often laugh ) I do have a lot of co-workers but I don't see them outside of work.....any friends I used to have (never really had many friends growing up, I was and am a very shy person) are all moved away and I only keep in contact with them on facebook... Yes I'm addicted to facebook laugh great way to stay in touch with friends, and now addicted to this site as well! I use to chat a lot online many years ago but that site closed down too and I lost touch with all the people I met there.

Anyways just wanted to share that with you smile

I agree with cyndee... don't ever feel like your talking to much smile that's whats the boards are for. smile

So after being here for a couple weeks I have realized something...... I am not alone in this, the support is awesome!! And wow I thought I was the only one that didn't have friends except for online laugh

cyndee i vote for erasing the calories!!! Sorry you got sick though. You should call them and get a free dinner from them.

Thanks for what you said about the dresses. She probably didn't think about how it would hurt. I just wanted to say...Sorry there weren't made at the tent and awning company probably won't fit around the twins. But I bit my tongue and walked off.

I think us diehard chatters need to find someway to get our own chat room to all be able to go into when we have time for online and chat instead of posting and waiting then posting again. I vote that li4g finds a way to get us a chat room. She is wonderful with the computer!

For any of you who want to be friends on facebook my last name is Mickel. I love having friends. I've just spent my life having one friend at a time. The only time I had more friends was when I was going to church many years ago. It started as 1 gal going and she got 6 of us in the neighborhood to start going and we became a great group. That church closed 17 yrs ago and I've never found another one I feel I belong in. So went we all scattered and I went back to one freind again.

I made that chicken I was talking about. It was good but a little shy in the flavor department. My friend makes something real close to it and it is wonderful but it's also full of calories. But what amazed me most was i got so full I only ate half of my dinner.

Well I need to go to bed. Big day tomorrow with the party. Here I talk about no friend but I am sitting here panicking about having 20 or more people here in my hose tomorrow. I will need a chill pill to get through the day.

LMAO!!) and well just formed some good long distance relationships with eachother. Some of those people I still keep in touch with. The chat room has been closed for several years but we keep in touch through a yahoo group called the wahloop. Bee lives about 2 hours north of me, but I havent seen her for at least 8 years. Not since before Morgolis and I got together. We tried to get together last December to go Christmas shopping, but the weather here got bad and I couldnt make it. I found her on facebook and we chatted there, so I invited her to come join us! Boy am I glad I did!! Ive missed her!! :)

OH OH!! I almost forgot....I have some news....

Today I went shopping with adopt4 and I thought for giggles I would try on a few different sizes of pants just so I could see WHAT I could get into. Most of the pants and capri's I have now are getting big on me and even thought I cant afford new clothes I thought I would be cool to just try them on and see so I found Levis and thought... what the heck... grabbed a 14 tall and MAN, THEY FIT ME, they werent tight, they werent loose. They just plain FIT!!!! So...I ran out of the dressing room, across the store to where adopt4 was still looking at clothes... jumping up and down.... saying.. "Look Look!! They fit and they are a 14!!!! YAY!!!!"

So.. Another victory in the clothing store! 4 pounds, 4 schmounds.... I got into a 14 in Levi's and a 16 petite in some other akward wierd brand that Id never heard of before but I couldnt resist not buying the capri's because they were $14 and fit my butt like a glove!! Im so sick of wearing baggy butt pants!!! laugh

Well didn't wog this morning due to cramps. TOM expected today - probably later in week. Put in 74 minutes aerobics and some needed cleaning. Suppose to get cooler here this week. How about you Sheila - suppose to get cooler up there?

OMG li4g ( I keep wanting to call you Batty) it has been about 14 yrs. Myhow time flys. You have one heck of a memory. I do remember staying with you just incase you went into labor. The fair was wonderful and so was CCR. We danced like mad. ( and you didn't ask to borrow my dress to fit over your pregnant belly LOL) The thing that was missing, are you talking about something of Tony's that was missing? Or am I not remembering what was missing?

Is there still a yahoo chat called wahloop? I haven't been on yahoo in so long I don't remember my password. I would love to chat with some of the old gang. I see Mims and MIMsMom on facebook daily but they are the only one left I talk to besides having you again. I have a few days off at the end of July wanna try to get together one of those days? I have missed you so much also. So much has happened in the last 8 yrs in our lives I don't feel like I know you that well any more.

WAY TO GO on the size 14. Even at my correct weight I wore a junior 15 and that was 32 yrs ago! I would so love to see a size 16 but I doubt I'll ever see that.

Swig: sorry you don't have your computer right now. I would go nuts now. I bought a laptop 3 months ago and sometimes some some of the letters don't work when I am typing and I have to go back and edit. I have to hit the letter 2 or 3 time before it shows up and it switches letters all the time. That is why sometimes letters are missing when I type I really do know how to type and spell. I get going sometimes and forget to proof read. BUT ..... I haven't taken it in to get fixed because I am addicted to this darn fitnesspal!!!! I have a house computer but it is so dang slow and it's in my son's music room and I can't watch tv and be in bed and type LOL. I'l have to get it looked at soon if this doesn't stop.

Indianagranny: I'd love to be your friend. I can feel what a great heart you have even on here. You really care deeply about people and issues. I get on here just to see what you are going to say next. I love that you find the time to say something to everyone. You're a beautiful woman inside and out!

Lorann: we sound like we have a lot in common when it comes to the computer. I am lookng forward to getting to know you. I love your smile.

Cyndeebee: are you feeling any better today??? I got a friend request on my facebook I thought might be you. Is it??? Have you tried taking the supplement curcumin for the fibromalgia pain? It really worked for me. I had bad pain in my arms, could barely get my shirt off unassisted. That helped take the arm pain away.

Ok I tried my new way of drinking coffee. I used skim milk and sugarfree carmel syrup. It was only 20 cal a cup intead of 200. It's not the same but I will get used to it. I went shoppng yesterday and it took me forever cause I was reading all the dang calories and fat contents on all the boxes and packages!.

Will be busy with the birthday party today so I won't get back until tonight. Have a great day all. Pray that I am able to stay on track. Right now I don't eat til I sit down and log to see if it all fits. Can't do that with 20 people around.

Good Morning Team!!! well afternoon I must say... its 1:30 in the afternoon... although i went to bed at 5:30 this morning and got up at 9 with my daughter knocking on the door cuz she was board.. my hubby got up with her and let me sleep a bit longer.. I finally got out of bed at 11:30 and made pancakes for breakfast for everyone!!!

Lisa, it is starting to cool down a bit.. we are getting some wind but it is like a hot breeze.. but it is supose to get down to 69 on Tuesday... That is cold... but I am use to that weather...

I am sitting out on my deck with my nieces computer trying to get a bit of sun...while it last... Next weekend I am having a few family and friends over for the 4th for a cook out.. then Sunday the family is going down to the horse races in Teledo OH, I have never been and I am looking forward to it.. then the following weekend is the graduation party...at my house for one of my nieces.. then April will be here on the 13th for a week.. cant wait...

April only 16 days left.... woooo hooo... I will call you so we can make a menu before you come up.. to organize what kind of food your kids like and what you like...

Good afternoon, but feels like morning to me, in spite of the fact that I've been awake since 6:30 a.m...

I'm still slightly under the weather from the tainted beef with broccoli, so I'm staying in my jammies all day.sick
I can't recall being so pale, even in the winter. And food? Ugh! Only if it's very, very bland...

But otherwise, all's good.
Battling with my daughter about Messenger. She walked in and asked me what our postal code is. Eh? 12 year olds don't get to give out postal codes on the Internet...so I went and investigated, and she's trying to add Yahoo Messenger. Nope.

Going back to my couch now, to finish watching the baseball game. Still have to finish my stuff for tomorrow, but I'll do it...tomorrow...

going back on the 50 million lb diet.. It worked so I am going to do it again.. Just got done with my shopping list.. NOW I am going to relax for a bit, drink some water, watch the race then we will go shopping when it cools down.. 100 today for the high....

Hi, team how is everyone. Crazybee - there is a myfitnesspal chat room. I've been there, but don't actually remember very well. Buy, I am betting Cyndi knows... If not, I will do some research and see if I can't get my memory jogged. So, here is my report on the plan I mentioned yesterday.
Drinking more warer - yes, check. Good so far.
More fiber - soaked lentils, and have added fiber to one of the things I track on my food diary. Check
Menu planning, doing that today for the week. Check
Exercise - start tomorrow. I always try to make Sunday a day of rest, so no exercising on Sunday.

Well, thats pretty much my day. I also should prolly add getting enough sleep. When I checked in with my sis and trainer, we went through all that had gone wrong, and she mentioned adequate sleep is really important. I knew that, but sort of let it slip my mind. Well, everyone, hope all is well. Talk to you soon!

By the way, I saw the slipper. Am quaking! wink Thanks Lulu and Lisa!

Exercise - Like you Sunday is my day of rest.. I did yard work and house cleaning so I logged that.... ITs moving right.....

Fiber - Hmmm good idea - I do have beans on my list so they will have to come from that...

the summer is going great. I have practially all of July to myself. Thisis the only pay off for 160 kids five days a week is that I get a month and a half to myself to remember how wonderful they can be when not in the middle of teenage drama. I kinda already miss them a little. Any how I'm really determinded to work harder this month with out the distractions of work stuff and visiters. I think that I can loose at least 5 lbs but I would really like it to be closer to 10lbs so that means getting my but in gear and really putting my best into my work outs not "just " doing them. If I don't push myself then I won't see the change that I want. So we'll see how it goes.

My hubby and I are taking vacation the end of July so we'll see just how cute I can get between now and then.
It does not matter how much we do but with how much love we do it. MT

Hello everyone, hope you all had a great weekend. Sorry no post 1/2 way through last week. I had a huge catering job yesterday and have been so busy this past week. I did not do well on counting calories. I tried to be more aware of what I was eating although. I did not make it to the gym too much. I am back on track tomorrow. I did weigh myself today..shocked at a loss at all. I lost .4 lbs. Have a blessed week everyone...and read some of the post, you all did great this week!!!!Congrads!!

Hello to all the newbies! You don't have to be crazy to join this group, but it helps! laugh

I too want to get on the bandwagon for planning meals. June has been a bad month and therefore little weight loss. frown My goal is to lose 20 lbs by end of August - only down 3 so far.

On the positive, I can fit into all my smaller clothes. Good thing they are summer ones. Bought 3 pairs of shorts becasue the other ones were wayyyy to big. (size 18 - bought 14's) Want to buy a pair of size 10 as goal to keep going. Hard for me to stay motivated when I feel so good where I'm at. I know I have another 30 lbs to lose so I will be back to wogging/eating healthy this week.

The grass is coming along nicely - we just about destroyed it with all the demolition and hauling and levelling we've been doing, but it's starting to come back.

Anyway, worked in the yard alllll weekend and made about 6 trips to Home Depot! Why is it that you can never get everything you need for a project in one trip?!?!

Got meals all planned, and am drinking water like a camel. All good. Had salmon and broccoli for dinner. Ready to hit the exercise trail tomorrow. Spent some time on the patio today, which I love!!! Hope every one has been having a blessed weekend, ready for the new week?

I think that a lot if not all and most of us since week 1, 2 and 3 have been slacking. I had a lot of success losing the weight when I was planning my meals and exercising.. I stopped doing it.. Just plain stopped and it's coming back.. The weight the old habits... I can eat this I can eat that, just moderate.. Well it's not working for me... My meals are planned for the week... Yeah.... I'd love to lose 20 lbs by the end of August.... We shall see... I will be back tomorrow with a new mind set... Tonight we are going to bbq rib eyes. NOT the best beef, but I will have 5 0zs with a vegetable..

I need you guys .. Badly.

Hey all, hope you had a great weekend. I did a garage sale Fri, Sat, Sun. SUCKS! I still have tons of clothes I need to sell so I can buy more clothes... Sheesh. But I did sell 6 books and then bought 12 from my neighbor... ooops...

Our house is HOT tonight, or maybe I'm feeling it because I hid in losingit's A/C house part of the evening... played with kittens, gotta get my fix. Only 2 more weeks before they go to their new homes!

The boys start camp tomorrow, 4 hours a day for the two oldest - whoohoo!!! hope it works off some of their energy so they don't fight so much! and it will be good bonding time for me and the 3 yr old, we haven't had good bonding times yet, 3 boys are overwhelming so I haven't been able to give him the attention he probably needs. So this should help!

Last night I didn't log calories because I drank - what, 3 or 4? - pina coladas, which I've never had before, but YUM, and I'm a lightweight so I was pretty happy by that time! But it was nice, and one day in how every many months isn't going to ruin me too badly.

I'm jealous of those of you now shopping in the "regular" and not "plus size" section. I got a ways to go for that. But I'm still in the same 2 pound weight range, even though I feel like I"ve gone overboard, obviously, my new "overboard" is much different than my old one! Was probably way under on cals today but it was so stinkin hot that I just can't eat much. Unless it's watermelon or some summer fruit, that's all I ever want to eat in the summer. But I have gotten in all my water, so that's good.

Trainer tomorrow... my shoulders hurt so bad from last week, and my upper back, my muscles felt like they were super-inflated or something, I thought I must look like the Incredible Hulk, based on how they felt! He seems to work my upper back a lot and my shoulders, things that i really don't think need all the attention, would rather work my core, legs, and abs, arms. So I think I need to ask him why he does that area so much, there might be a purpose. Put on a tank top today and took a look at my arms and went, nope, not ready for a tank top yet!

Any of you, if you've weighed or weigh 165 I was wondering what size you wore? I'm trying to figure out what I might wear at that size, I'm 5'7". I'm already in the size I wore in college, and I weigh 40 pounds more than I did then, so I have absolutely no idea what size I might be (I want to buy something in that size and just see how it fits from month to month). And here I thought my goal size was going to be 16, well, I'm nearly there now, so that's not it! Looks like there's hope for me to get out of the plus size section after all!
