We are getting bikes. I'm curious to how other input bike riding with their Fitbit since it won't pick up on steps and distance. Do you use any other apps, HRM, etc.?

I have never tried to override an activity on Fitibt (is that the right way to describe it?) From what I have been reading, some do an activity with the stop watch and then enter an activity manually for bike riding. If you use the same start and end time it will over ride the info the Fitbit gathered.

I'm a little confused so that's why I'm asking. Thanks for your input.

When I do an activity that fitbit doesn't measure correctly, such as bike riding, I use and HRM and enter it manually. I take my fitbit off so as not to get a double entry, since the fitbit will pick up some calorie burn from bike riding; it's just not very accurate.
