So, I'm going to a party tonight and wasn't sure how to track the things I eat. In the past, while on WW, I tracked what I would eat up until arriving at the party and of course the beers I drank but any finger food type things, I didn't track. I know that's not ideal but how the heck do you come up with cal's and track all those little things? Just curious how you guys would track an evening like that. I don't want it to be a "lost" day but I also wasn't planning on eating REAL bad.

tracking that stuff is really hard! I work preparing food in the dining hall and im constantly picking at it. Thankfully, you can log 1 tortilla chip, or 1 pretzel, so I would just try to keep track, ballpark. There is also an option of adding quick calories, so if i feel like i underestimated how much i eat i add like 50 calories. Not very precise but its the best I can come up with. Ideally of course we would just not eat any of it haha.

I went out for sushi (& other side dishes) last night and I know it was hard to track all the elements. So I do a guesstimate and do a lump total of calories to add. Even with on-line technology I still have to look things up in a little book called "Calorie King". Portions are easy to track for me and are like points in the WW but it is those larger combined meals that are trickier to calculate and can take some time...like a casserole, spaghetti, soups, etc. You are conscious walking into this party and that is a step ahead!
