Okay, so my husband and myself are trying the Ryan Reynolds + Jessica Biel diet/workout plan. For myself, 5/6 meals a day with a 1200 calorie intake. Need some food ideas that are healthy, that is in low calories, and last but not least inexpensive? In need of some advise.

I like doing eggs with veggies. I use 3 egg whites and 1 whole egg lots of veggies (usually around 200 cal)
I also like to have for a treat as a snack a non-fat (I can't do whole milk makes me sick) Chai tea latte again about 200 cal depending on size
salsa and veggies! Very low cal and very filling with lots of fiber!
Also if your a noodle person I like subbing regular noodles for Tofu Shirataki noodles (You can also find them without tofu for less cal) But a 1/2 pack which is 8oz is only 20 cal and very filling!

Where do you find the tofu noodles? Refrigerated section, or dry groceries asian section? Never heard of them, but it sounds worth giving a try

I have never heard of the Tofu Shirataki noodles but I am defiantly a person to try new foods. Where can you find the Tofu Shirataki Noodles to buy?

i have found the noodles at harris teeter (or maybe any high end grocery store) in the refridgerated tofu section. they are OK...make sure you read the directions, they have kinda a weird taste but decent esp if you love carbs haha they were suprisingly cheap too, 1.50.

Lol Fad!

Just eat 1600-2k a day if you are around 5'5" and youll lose weight.

Overcomplicated diets never last.
PS: meal frequency was debunked.
Sleep in, skip breakfast and burn more fat.

And unless your husband is under 5' tall I wouldnt recommend him eating 1200 calories.
He will lose significant weight but it will most likely be in lean mass with fat as opposed to just fat on a slight deficit.

Just my 2cents.

I weight 120 and 5"2, my hubby is around 5"9 and weights 160. I am totally listening if anyone know of how to lose 5 pounds and start putting on muscle and also toning my tummy muscles.

I have found them at Safeway in with the tofu and such which is in the refrigeration section in with the fruits and veggies (I hope that makes sense. I have not looked to many other places because well I forget lol But I have heard you can get them at superstore.

You can find those noodles at Whole Foods and Metro if you live in Canada.

I eat that frequently because I get sick otherwise. It just keeps my blood sugar more constant and not the whole metabolism thing which is what most people think eating that often is for.

I'm 5' 7' and I eat between 1300-2100 cal a day depending on what I am doing (I'm in training for a half marathon)
