Hi,

Just a quickie. Day #13 no bread. It's getting pretty easy, I don't even think about it anymore. I'm sure massive temptation is lurking just around the corner, though.

Night all,
Jeanne

Jeanne-- I'm doing very well with it, too-- or without it, I should say. My stomach enjoys its absence.

Successfully avoided the ice cream and hot cross buns tonight, as well--

night-night.

Leaving here shortly to run over to a 5k race. "Save the parade" race in memory of a wonderful man who died last year. Big man instrumental in running the 4th of July festivities in the town. This is the first annual 5k. I love first annual races....much more intimate. There is said to be about 250 signed up for it. We will actually be running about 45 min before getting to the race. My ladies are getting ready for the Broad Street 10 mile run next month so they need to get the miles in.

Have a great day everyone! Supposed to be a beautiful weekend here!heart

ok, katie, I forgot. I concur with the sentiments here on the book,

Morning kids,

Just in from a very nice 8 miler...first run in 2 weeks -or any workouts at all really- and it felt great! That said, there was plenty of "running" and walking, so that was something. We hit up Costco and the grocery store yesterday, so all stocked up on healthy foods. Ready to get back on track. :-)

In case I don't get a chance to post it tomorrow, good luck Lori!!!

Morning-- Operation Fingerprint Eradication is in full swing this weekend. I'm sure you all have some idea of just how many fingerprints many dirty little kids can leave on the walls of the staircase when coming in from outside. Crappy thing about a bi-level-- any time these blasted kids come inside, they have to come up the stairs. Ugh.

Also took apart my bathroom window to clean it, blah, blah, blah-- cleaning like a demon. Gotta love spring.

Again, looking at all these homes, how clean, how organized-- well, let's just say it's shamed me and inspired me. No, I'm somewhat sure they don't have 7 kids living at home, 4 of whom are home 24/7 getting filthy. Still, there is no denying that I haven't been on top of these issues in quite some time. My escape was my computer in the heat of the unemployment and family issues way, way back when-- and then I was hooked. Thankful to be finally getting a handle on it, and working on being the wife, mama and homemaker I need to be-- that I certainly should be by now, after 24 years of marriage and 21 years of motherhood.

I'm a work in progress.

Heading to a soccer game in a bit-- hope you're all having a great weekend.

Shuntae-- not sure you popped into see all our comments regarding your wedding album, but you made a bunch of us cry-- they were lovely. Good to see you back.

Love to all.

Just finished a run with Dh. Like outside, with sneakers on, down the road type running. None of the other for a few days for me after my lovely dr. visit the other day. My first "long" run since I hurt my calf. Felt great! Was supposed to be nine, but hubs was up for seven and wants me to be careful and not end up hurting myself again.

Cleaning here too. Then softball pictures and grocery shopping. We are under a watch for tornadoes this evening. Spring in he Midwest!

Have to confess eating was awful yesterday! Too much sugar and little bites and nibbles here and there. ohwell I promise you and myself to be better today.

Welcome home, Shuntae!

Happy Saturday. It's a beautiful day here!

We're going to Mitch's performance this evening (the senior-directed plays). My mom is miserably sick with a cold, so she is going to miss it. That makes me sad, because she just loves these kinds of things. I am going to try to video the performance. If I pull it off, I'll let you know. bigsmile

Mark's folks are going to join us, so that's nice.

My eating has remained on track. It has to. I said it would. I'm a stubborn cuss when it comes to things like that. I have to get to 144 before I can deviate from plan. I was 145.4 this morning, so it's not TOO far away. However, you never know exactly how long it will take. Could be a day. Could be a month! tongue My best guess is that it will be somewhere between the two, hopefully the shorter end of the range. It's my rest day today, which almost always makes me feel like something is missing. I enjoy a break, but it still feels strange.

I'd better get back to tidying up around here. Hope you're all having a great weekend so far!

Such a lovely day. Went to Las Olas, our upscale shops of down town. Had nice lunch. Then made our way down to the ocean where we sat at a seaside Tiki bar and had a Passion fruit frozen drink. My pal had a shot of tequila and beer.

Nice afternoon. Now another friend wants to go see the a coverband downtown. Where is the dance smiley?drinker

Am I terrible person if I laugh at someone else's expense until the tears run down my leg? I read the funniest post here this morning, and I can't stop thinking about it, so I have to share. It's on page 3 of this thread:

Congratulations on the weigh-in! You're my inspiration or maybe I'm feeling competitive wink . I would love to get below 145 as well and I'm sticking to my plan too.

Busy dang day. Ate a late carb filled dinner. I am stuffed. Trying to drink a powerade.... man there is no room.

I feel like a pumpkin. Ugh. The scale has been stupid this week. Not sure if it's the lack of exercise, being sick... all of the above. I was a good girl. Really I was, but the scale went up, up and up. Last weekend it was down, 154... I was jazzed. Less than jazzed to see 157 today. Oh well. I might not even get on it tomorrow. I ate a lot of carbs late in the day, surely I will see that. What does it matter anyway? Right?

Later my friends!
