I know this has been said before but it bears repeating. I just had to re-enter an entire recipe that was already on my spouse's account, because we ate the same thing for dinner together. What a pain! Please, please, PLEASE share recipes to friends!

I agree!

Yes, please. I see people asking for this DAILY.

My daughter and I would love to be able to share recipes. Since we can allow others to see our diaries, it can't be that hard to allow sharing of recipes as well. I'd like to get my husband started on MFP, since he's trying to lose some weight also; but if he has to go through all the hassle of re-adding every recipe I make, he isn't going to do it.

I like this idea a lot. And I'd like a variation too. Not just sharing recipes, but sharing specific meals. My wife and I only use the recipe feature from time to time. However, we eat the same thing for dinner every night. It would be GREAT when I enter my dinner that my wife could easily copy it over to her log.

It's come to my attention that this feature is already available on iPhone and iPad. But we're Android users, and would love if it could be implemented on Android too.

+1 to this! This would be great.

Agreed, my wife and I are both on this and it would be really nice to share meals since we eat most of them together.

My husband and I have our diaries shared (as Friends only) so that we can copy meals to each other. This worked with my custom recipes too. I would enter the recipe on my account, then go to his myfitnesspal account, view my diary from his account and then hit Copy to add it to his diary.

No double-entry of recipes required to each account.

Hope that helps.

Edited to say that it doesn't copy the recipe to his account, but does log the item and the calories. I don't really need him to have all the recipes on his account since I do all the cooking.

I agree with this. I would LOVE to be able to share recipes with my hubby! We both have accounts and both eat the same meals a lot of times. This would make it very convenient to not have to duplicate the entries on both accounts.

I'd like to see this as well, I'm trying to get into this since I've seen my wife use it, but it may go to the wayside if I have to enter the info as well (she makes a ton of awesome custom involved recipes)
if available for the ipad/phone, it should really be cloned between all access points.

It is such a pain and a waste of time to have to enter the recipe twice.
