MFP needs a better quality chart on "Progress". The current one is hard to read.
What about a chart where you can put in your own date ranges? Thanks.

Good afternoon FitnessPal staff,
I am a CPT and just recently learned about the website. I tried it out, and think it's a great tool to get my clients on. It's helpful for them to see where they are landing with their calorie consumption as well as seeing what they are burning during exercise. We have noticed however that the calories burned don't get calculated for the resistance training. It would be great if we could see that. An intense hour can burn over 500 Cals, so it's worth calculating. Also, I noticed the data base doesn't recognize anything with Kettlebells, or power exercises like clings and snatches. I hope this feedback helps make this site even better.

Would really like to see more on using weights and building strength. Also why is there no allowance for calories burned when doing weight training, only cardio? Much the same concerns as the previous posting.

I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post this question, but I'm wanting to track my daily carbs but there doesn't seem to be a place for that. Can that be added?

Second this.

Could there be a section for people to show progress pics- without threads getting locked? I understand trying to keep the site "work friendly" but I think if someone is wearing under things that should be allowed- we are all adults.

So a section maybe titled : progress pics: and people can look if they want or not.

I really like this one!

I am new to your site so I don't know all of its intricacies. So far I am not finding it user friendly. For example, because I use a product that is not in your list of foods, your site asked to fill out a form about this new food product. I filled out all the information the product gives on its label. But the label does not list potassium; so therefore your site would not accept my work. I am not going to phone Pepperidge Farms and waste more of my time. I am bummed out because I cannot proceed. What is one to d?.

Since creating a food only requires a food name, serving size, servings per container and really the only mandatory nutrition info is calories I'm not sure what error you ran into, if there was a value in place for calories the food should have created whether potassium, fiber, vita A or C, calcium or iron values were entered or not

I'd really like to see a section for locations. Perhaps do main thread topic by states, country, etc. And then sub threads can be by city?

It'd be super helpful for those of us wanting to find, create, or establish workout groups, fitness groups, gym partners, etc.

I wish you had a phone number so that we can notify you when the site is having technical difficulties. I have been unable to get all the way through the "contact us" process to let you know about the problem with completing the logging of food. It looks like my "friends" are having trouble too. Nothing has been logged to day. I hope you see this soon. Otherwise folks will become very discouraged and stop trying to log on. I have had this issue twice before. I have only been at it for 2 weeks. Its great when it works, but when it doesn't, it blows my well laid plans out of the water. Please please do something about giving us a contact number that is placed on the home page. Some times we can't get very far beyond that page. Thanks for caring.

I agree with those who have suggested a new member section with FAQ and a list of acronyms so I can look up what FAQ means. I finally found a list by searching for it but how about we make it a little easier?

I don't know if this is the most current version or not:

I would like to be able to put a food name in, on just my foods and have it pop up. It would be so much easier than scrolling through several pages.
Also the ability to remove foods from "recent" pages would be really nice.
Currently one has to scroll through everything to just find a food we ate 3 days ago. I'm into saving time not spend all day scrolling and looking.

But I'm using this and it really helps me keep on track.. 22 lbs lost since I started logging in June.

There are a lot of us gastric bypass post-ops who use the site. It would be awesome to have a site where we can post things that are specific to bariatric surgery patients. For instance, we really have to limit carbs due to the affect they have on our new systems.

Thank you for your consideration.

Good one! I was just inquiring at a big box store about exchanging free weights when I was ready for a heavier weight. It'd be easier to make a purchase like that ISPs you had somewhere specific to sell items you've outgrown.

I read a few great ideas, but i just want to have a button that returns you back to the topic &/or the main page of the group you were responding too. It frustrating to have to go all the way back out & maybe not find where you were at again.

I've not received any of the material, books, pamphlets, that I paid for when I signed up for MFP? Can you tell me when I can
expect to receive these?
November 12, 2012 8:24 AM
MFP is 100% free
if you paid for something it wasn't MFP you either clicked an ad-banner and signed up for something "extra" or are thinking of the wrong site
