Breastfeeding and weight loss. Breastfeeding mothers who want to slowly and safely lose weight without interfering with their milk supply. Some people seem to lose weight whilst breastfeeding however this isn't the case for me it's now 7 months since i gave birth and I haven't lost any weight and can feel the stress on my joints due to excess weight being carried.

I would like to see the website upgraded. The app is great, but the website won't let you see the calories until you already add something, making it difficult to see if I chose the right item. The website is so clunky; it needs to be streamlined. It don't like how things like total protein, fat, ect are displayed across the bottom. It makes it difficult to see which one I'm looking at. There should be something in the corner that looks similar to the app's "daily" tab.

One thing about the app I don't like is that there isn't a "today" button. So if I scroll to a month from today I have to scroll all the way back or choose which date I want to go back to.

I don't think this is the right section to post this info, but maybe someone will read it.

notify us when someone posts behind us on a status update (not our own, i receive those) but others' update, lots of times people ask questions of other posters and we don't know it unless we wade through the wall to find that particular post and reread the comments. you could at least offer that as an option in settings. so you could turn it off or on as you choose. allow easier access to our profile on the iphone app. i had someone post to my profile but i couldn't read all of the comment on the phone. not sure if i did/didn't do something right or not but it was aggravating to have to wait til i got to a computer to read my profile wall. thanks!

How about an exercise and fitness for 60+ ers....we have different issues. I will still read the main board but i would never dive in with my questions on the current board....the majority couldn't relate.

BTW - love this site.

Oh, and, personally, as a horrible speller, spell check would be nice.

If the newbies aren't informed about Thong Thursday or Boobie Friday, how will they know to participate?

Have you checked out the groups dedicated to folks that are 60+? I imagine that it would be a great place to make some friends that are facing common issues.

Check out Firefox. It is a browser, like Internet Explorer, that has a feature that adds a red line under words it suspects you have misspelled. You can get it free at firefox.com.

I think the Groups and Challenges category, Progress Pics, and Frequently Asked Questions for Newbie's are great ideas.

I like the idea of a board for swapping clothes that we have outgrown to others as they go through their journey. Clothes, selling fitness items that we no longer use etc.

I love this idea and also the Bulletin type board for Group Challenges.

Dear Sir,

I love your website. As a Type II Diabetic it would also be helpful for me to have additional tracking columns; I would suggest having additional tracking options to include but not limited to:

1. Vitamins taken.
2. Medications taken.
3. Blood Pressure
4. Blood Sugar readings and time taken
5. Diet and Meal Planning by Kcalorie goals per day; example 1000/1200/1500/2000/2500 etc.
6. Diet variations by meal goals.
7. Diets by affordability.
8. Resource Library for supplemental use/dangers of overuse?
9. Links to other fitness/health resources/ etc.
10. Option to automatically rotate saved pictures to your facepage daily/weekly/ other??
11. Simple ways to improve knowledge and understanding of body metabolism and age & exercise impact on metabolism.
12. Challenge members to donate $1.00 per month to a selected charity from MyFitnessPal; Select 12 charities that promote health and medical/nutritional research. Some examples could include but not limited to: Diabetes Research; Obesity; Heart Disease; Insulin Resistence; Heathy lifestyles; Children's Hospitals; Cancer Research;Breast Cancer Research;.......

You can create a meal in your food diary for medications and/or vitamins here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/diary_settings

You can track just about anything you like using the measurements: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/measurements/check_in

The forums and groups (http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups) offer a wealth of information. For example, you can search for groups that deal with diabetes (http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/search?phrase=diabetes). One group that provides a lot of great information is the Unofficial FAQ: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/457-unofficial-mfp-faq

This is a great idea!

I agree and I would love a section educating about BMR and TDEE versus eating exercise calories back. Seems to be a source of major confusion for people, myself included, when they are new to MFP.

How bout you add optional body fat % tracker and something to track blood pressure to the MyFitnessPal database? Both of which can be very accurately/affordable measured and are important stats to track in determining one's level of fitness. I got a bio-electric impedance body fat indicator for ~$30 and a relatively accurate wrist worn BP cuff for ~$24. Not an huge deal, just I keep track of them separately in an Excel spreadsheet, would be easier just to log them with you all if possible?

I couldnt find a place for exercise info but I was thinking you could include ZUMBA..its very popular right now, I know dancing is included but it would be nice to include zumba if possible. thanks.

I was thinking perhaps a category for "Health and Well Being" to get those topics out of the "Chit Chat, Fun and Games".

I would like a category for my iPhone to track healthy eating. For example, just check of boxes as I eat veggies/ fruits and other categories in the food pyramid.

Oops just saw "Forum" sorry

I would like to see some new items added to the cardio workouts for exercise. Zumba and Body Pump have become extremely popular, but there is not a category for it when I put in my exercise. I would love to see those added. There is a website online that allows you to calculate the calories burned when doing these activities, but it would be much more convenient to have them listed on myfitnesspal.

Thanks!bigsmile

Why does the following not work?

I followed a similar comment for five weeks. No where near the forecast as below.

If every day were like today... You'd weigh 267.9 lbs in 5 week
