April 17, 2013 10:12 PM
Forums for recent events, tom, and complaining/whining.. Also a chat thing would be really cool, so you can chat with members on your friends list or who are just on the site :)

I'd love to see a section for just Health. This is a very heath-oriented forum for even more than just fitness so it'd be nice to ask for input from people with similar ailments or something.

I'd also love to see two categories for men and women. Sometimes I just want to ask something about female fitness and I get a dozen macho bro responses before a woman comes in and can actually provide an answer. Additionally, yeah, periods and stuff.

Un forum francophone général et pas seulement à propos de la technique... Là, ce serait vraiment bien!

A French general forum that talks about everything and not just technique! And that would be great!

I would like to know why all the food you look up is not the same in all categories. How is it all food does not have the same calories, really confused. Please make all the food you look up the same no matter what category. Also please fix the suggestion for spelling food, if I misspell a food ITEM NOT FOUND, very annoying. It use to have suggestion, not anymore. I may just quit using this as this is a BIG problem.

Healthy brands/ healthy snacks... Something where members can share specifically regarding prepackaged foods. Many people struggle with a completely fresh food diet.

not a post for a new category, but how about a sort button for groups.. you already have 'newest' member.. how about a sort by 'most recent log in'?

Great idea to have a LIST (rather than lots of posts) of suggestions and which of these suggestions are being taken up by the MFP development team.

Even reading through this long list of posts (this is my first venture into the "Community"), what I need is a summary of the ideas presented so far, ideally grouped into genres.. eg recipes, app functionality etc.

MFP could even poll us with a range of suggestions and see where the real needs are.

A pregnancy category would be nice. I used this site before I got pregnant to get healthy but now I am obviously not interested in losing weight, just gaining the right amount in a healthy way.

I still think the recipes forum needs to be broken down by meal. Most often the pages are filled more with sweets/desserts and than say for instance dinners, lunches, etc

You need to have a support catagory where when things go wrong like people making incorrect entries in the food bank it can be corrected. Generic Iceburg Lettuce has 0 calories and 0 macros across the board. I would like to see this fixed. I have come across other items like this and they need to be fixed so we can properly log our food. Thank you!

I recommend adding a "Women's issues" forum to be a catch-all for TOM, PCOS, pregnancy, breast feeding, menopause, etc. I recognize that you probably feel some of these are specialty issues that should be addressed within the groups, but since women overall are half the world, it's not really fair to say women's issues is a "specialty group". Also, since these issues are not of interest to the male half of members, it would clearly improve the male experience to move those posts to their own forum. These issues make a very large segment of posts.

FYI, I also noticed that the titles of the two new categories "Goal: Gaining weight" and "Goal: Maintaining weight" sometimes confuse people. I think it's because the previous category (General Diet and weight loss help) isn't called "Goal: Losing weight". Perhaps the word "general" doesn't belong on that category name anymore.

I would love to see a section for women in their 40's and 50's. I'm experiencing significant changes during these years, and I would love to connect and share with other women...in this category. (-:

I would like to see a personal blood pressure tracker with multiple entries for each day.
This way, my food intake, my exercise tracking and my blood pressure tracking are all in one place.

How about a success forum for people who have lost over 50 or 75 or 100 lbs. Only these people could start a new thread in this forum. Anyone can reply but only people who have lot over 50 lbs can start a thread.

I would like to see a forum on bariatric surgery. Our dietary requirements are different and we can't be pigeonholed into a regular diet/calorie requirement.
