I like the idea of a board for swapping clothes that we have outgrown to others as they go through their journey. Clothes, selling fitness items that we no longer use etc.

This is a great idea!

I would like to see a weekly summary in the same format as the daily summary on the main page so you can see the over all picture of calorie intake for the week and calories burned for the week.

Haven't had time to read all of the replies, so don't know if this was suggested (sorry) but it would be nice to have a place to post recipes...especially healthier versions of classic/traditional recipes.

Perhaps a "challenge" forum?

FAQ?

A group recruitment forum maybe, like you mentioned?

At this rate a "single forum" or "personals forum" ? It seems to be a rampant thing on this site so why not facilitate life for that group!

I think a 'Singles' forum would be great, to keep it away from the Just For Fun section!

I actually went to search for "equipment exchange" & this thread popped up.

It would be awesome if there was a forum for exercise equipment or DVD workouts etc to be bought/ sold/ exchanged.
So many people try different things & methods on here, & the either like them, don't, want to suggest or get rid of them that it should be beneficial to have a place to exchange.

The "Challenge" forum would be great too. I see them scattered throughout & it would be nice to have a place to go to consistently for that sort of thing.

Could we get a section for people who've had weight loss surgery? We kind of have different rules on calories/carbs/etc than everyone else.

I think a mentor section would be a good addition.

People who are trained or have had success thru the site can add their formulas for success. Maybe offer to accept friend requests for those similar to whatever their situations were when they joined. Like a big brother or sister program.

I like the new group announcement idea too.

This is great suggestions! I'm new here and I know most the questions I wanted to know were already talked about but didn't know for sure where to go. Thanks for wanting to improve and ask us users!

Enable husbands and wives to do this together without having to log in and out separately. Would be easier if we could share meals without having to retype twice!!!

While you do have to log in separately to your own account... or you could say... one partner uses firefox, while the other uses chrome and each stay logged in on your own browser...

there IS a feature that may help, it was added to the site in November 2012. Create your recipe / meal / food diary entry... log a serving of the recipe in the food diary for the account it was created in and then the other partner VIEWS that first persons shared diary and
website clicks quick tools > copy to today
apps being iPad, iPhone and Android platforms at least... click the wrench / spanner in the header with the meal name and click copy to today.
Only one of you has to "input an entire recipe" or a complex meal and the other can simply copy to their own.

Do note that if one of you is using 6 meal slots (food > settings) both of you need to be to be able to successfully copy from all meal slots to all meal slots (it logs to the same meal slot the first person used, so if meal 1 is used it copies to meal 1... if it's meal 6 it copies to meal 6... once it's in your diary you can click the food name and edit which meal it is logged under if your meals are arranged differently.

Food > settings
pick fiber as one of your (website limit) 5 options. Apps show all 17 trackable items on the summary screen or "home"

Hi there we have been using your site for about a month now and it is easy to use and very helpful as we are starting a journey to control weight and diabetes. Is there a way to put in the daily sugar levels so that we can print out a report for the doctor?

Hi -

I am a whole food plant based vegan who eats no meat, no dairy and no oil for both health and weight issues - I am bumping into quite a few people on the boards who are too - any chance MFP could open up a forum for Plant Strong people for support, recipe exchange, etc?? It is rare to find people who eat like this and I would love a place to come and share ideas, success, recipes and find support.

It would be good to search for groups within my area? I narrowed my search for group members to 25 miles which is the minimum however it's bringing people up from Manchester which is about 2 hour drive from me! Trying to find local support would be a bonus!

Could we have an 'In the news' section. There usually seems to be something happening that we could comment on. (This week the terrible event at the race in Boston - but other weeks there are articles about diets/ running and other matters of general interest)
