I don't count the balance games and such (I still do them before and after my free step and hula hooping, though). I record any of the aerobic games as 'aerobics, low impact'.

If you have a hrm wear it during your workout. On MFP just go to add exercise and click to the right side of search, where you can enter your own exercises in, thats what I did.

I record the hula, step and boxing as aerobics - high impact. I was originally counting it as low impact but then I did a little research to see what was consider low and high impact. I found that any dancing or stepping type aerobics are considered high impact, so I changed my recording method. For the yoga, I just record it as Hatha Yoga, which is just general yoga. The strength training I record as calisthenics.
Hope that helps! |

I've been counting the aerobics (hula hoop and boxing) as high impact. I wore a HRM and so I know how many calories I burned. Low impact came in way too low. High impact was even a little low, but was still closer than the low impact.
