How healthy is it for me to snack on sunflower seeds all day? I generally finish the bag whichi is only 180 calories, but im wondering if it could still affect my weight loss in a negative way...

Shouldn't if it fits into your calories... I eat sunflower seeds each and everyday.

I think something else should come into play along with calories. How much sodium are you getting with your sunflower seeds? I think both of those should be considered. But I could eat sunflower seeds every day myself. Was surprised how good they taste in yougart.

Depends if they are salted/ flavoured? It's alot of extra sodium if they are. Sodium leading to water retention. Do you have sodium levels set up on your calorie counter? I cup of water weights 1/2 pound.

One of the many times I quit smoking I turned to sunflower seeds to fill the void. I looked like a beach ball with fingers within three months.

Everything in moderation I guess.

I love sunflower seeds. I prefer the less salt ones made by Planters. They are a $1.00 a bag. They are high in calories, but they are good for you. What size bag of sunflower seed you buy that's only 180 calories? To me that sounds like a serving size only.
