Interesting link, click on the names of the body type to read more. Basically it gives you tips on losing weight depending on your type. Unfortunately for me, I am an Endomorph (ie, even at my fittest I've had a large chest, hips, and small waist with narrow shoulders). While in all honesty I'm beginning to appreciate my natural type, it also 'clings' to fat and I have learned, per this site and through my own experience, I'll have to work HARD to lose this weight. Gah. ><

Granted, it hasn't been so bad. I've been following my cal intake a good 80% of the time and been losing about 1-2 pounds per week. Can't complain about that. :D

Somatypes are pseudo-scientific nonsense.

How do you figure? Three women can follow the same exercise/diet routine, and at their fittest, one could appear thin with lean muscle, the other may look more athletic with 6 pack, muscle tone, and the other may have curves/hips/large breasts compared to the others.

I subscribe to the body types and have since I lifted competitively 25 years ago. While there is more concise science today. It's a great place to start until you learn more about your body and begin to adjust to your bodies unique needs and makeup. Don't let others rain on your parade if you've found something that gives you some motivation or drive to try new things go for it and investigate other theories and information as you find time and feel like things have slowed down. You'll find lots of puesdo professionals that will debunk anything us mere mortals report we've learned. If it motivates you then go for it. You're on the right track as you have been successful so far. !-2 lbs is perfect for a steady healthy weightloss. Rock on!

Thank you! I completely agree. It seems as though this user is a bit notorious for such!
