Is there a way to change the mph to kilometers?

I ask cos I realised I have been logging my walking wrong, on the treadmill I have been logging it as 3.0mph rather than 3.0km and dont really know how to convert miles to km, so I have probably been overeating as a result...
can someone help with this?

Try the website below, you put in your miles and it will convert to kilometres. Stick the page in your favourites and you can then get to it easily.

1.6 km in a mile so 3km is just a shade under 2 miles... 3.2 km would be 2miles.

Just open another window with that website open, convert your distance and input it into MFP. Takes all of two minutes.

Lots of people want support for metric units. Here's what the developers said some time ago:

http://www.myfitnesspal.com/help/faq/267-do-you-plan-to-support-the-metric-system-fully?phrase=metric&platform=web

"Do you plan to support the metric system fully?

We are planning on adding additional support for metric measurements throughout the site and the apps. For example, you will be able to set your weight loss goals in kg instead of lbs and view exercise speeds in km/hour instead of mph. We're not sure when these enhancements will be ready, but they are definitely on our to-do list."

Yeah I get that it takes all of a few seconds, but it would just be more convenient if I didnt have to do that. The southern hemisphere is part of the world too, there are a LOT of places that use kms, it would be less confusing. I've been logging my info incorrectly for months as a result, thinking that since i had it set to the metric system, KM would appear automatically. Just a bit annoying, but until the developers fix it, I will use the site you gave me -- but there's no harm in asking.

Thanks.
