I have been using MFP on my windows phone since September and have added a few Meals to speed up logging. However, yesterday 'My Meals' refuses to add the meal to my diary and comes up with 'Could not complete operation. Is this a fault on my phone, or the app? This is the first time this has happened to me. I can add meals online, or on my Ipad2 (great app by the way). The windows app is good, but having just bought an Ipad I can see that there is quite a bit lacking on the Windows one. Any plans for an update?

I have exactly the same problem. I'm on a Samsung Focus S running Windows Phone 7.5 Mango. I've noticed in the past few weeks that I get "Could not complete operation" when I try to add a Meal from the My Meals tab. I use Meals a lot to speed up data entry, so this is a critical feature for me!
Adding Meals to my Diary works fine on the web site, just not on my phone. I also noticed a few weeks ago that from my phone, I have been unable to replace a saved Meal. After it asks if I'm sure I want to replace the existing meal, I get a message that it was successful, but in fact both the original and new Meals are gone! (Like it deleted the original, but failed to actually save the new Meal). Can I get some help on this please? This is seriously hindering my ability to use MyFitnessPal. Thanks! |

Definitely sounds like some technical intervention is needed. I find the meals function really useful to save repeatedly adding the same foods, especially as I don't have multi add on my windows phone.

It's working again today. Coincidence? There was no update to the app, so perhaps it was a server side issue. Does anyone from MyFitnessPal want to weigh in and let us know?

I've used the app for weeks for my Android and I've loved the app. It's been all fun using it. However, I picked up a Lumia 800 today and was so happy to find that MFP was available there! However, it seems to not be able to update anything and gets an error message. I would be ready to pay for this app if it only would work.

Hi,
Some users of the Windows Phone app are experiencing an issue where the app can only successfully complete transactions when it is connected via WiFi, not via 3G/4G cell connection. This may or may not be what's occurring in your situations. We would like to collect diagnostic data from your WP7 apps, which we cannot securely do over the forums. If you are having an issue with the WP7 app that is not resolved by uninstalling/reinstalling the app, will you please reach out to our tech support team directly using the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the site?
