Does anyone know if the new kindle fire will support the myfitnesspal app? I can see it on amazon's android app martketplace, but it doesn't explicitly say.

If someone here is a brand new owner, could you check?

It's already downloaded on my Fire! The great thing is that you can access MFP through the app OR the website (as long as you have wi-fi available). There are some things I find easier with the app and others easier with the website. Keep in mind, too, that the Fire does not have a camera, so you can't use the barcode scanner. Other than that, it works great!

Thank you, I was just about to post a similar question myself, this answers everything I needed to know! I just ordered two Fires; one for me and one as a Christmas present for a certain special someone, and one of the big selling points was being able to run apps. Between that and Angry Birds, I'm all set! LOL! bigsmile

I just got mine last night in mail and I absolutely love it! I didn't think about being able to access myfitnesspal site on it, though. That is a great ideal. Thanks!
