It says on the package serving size 1 oz so how many pieces of it is 1oz of the beef jerky?

It really helps to get a scale so you can measure it. Or, does the package say how many servings in one package? You can divide it up into the correct number of servings so you know what's approx 1 oz.

Good, so if you divide the jerky into 4 equal portions each one should be about 1 oz.

1 oz = 1/8c or 2 tbsp. Not a lot to play with, but its not suppose to be a meal...

thats a liquid oz though, right? is that different than a weight ounce?

Edit: I just googled it. Fluid ounces are not interchangeable with an ounce of weight.
