Does anyone have swelling that is not caused by too much sodium?

For the last week or so my fingers swell really bad at night. During the day my wedding rings are playing ring around the rosy, but at night they are to tight I take them off in the middle of the night.

Any clue what could be causing this?

My sodium yesterday was only 1002.. and yet sure enough I felt like my finger was suffocating and had to take my rings off tonight.

you mention you are hypothyroid it could be that too, get your thyroid levels checked too. Thyroxine also contains sodium did you include that in your calculations?
