TOPIC: More interactive reports

Hi,
I find the reports quite nice but it would be really helpful if they were a little more interactive. For example, it would be a lot easier if, when looking at a nutrition report, we could click a certain bar that might be an outlier to be taken to that days diary and see what we ate that day that was so bad/good.
Also, it'd be good to be able to have 3 axis graphs such as calories AND fat over time.

Thanks

I agree. The reports are pretty primitive. For example, there isn't even a report for calories (actual vs. goal) for any unit of time other than a day. A weekly, monthly, or total number would be very useful.

Agreed - above post - the reports could show you a total net calories for the week for example

I would like to be able to set the parameters for the reports. For example, the progress report for weight loss shows in very high increments, which makes small losses look like a straight line. This is not very motivating.

Exactly! I have been a member for ten months. To see my progress from the start, I have to choose to view 1 year. What happens after a year? I will not be able to see my initial progress. The upper and lower display has a range of 120 lbs. As my goal is 40 pounds, why do I need to see all that white space for weight I have no intention of losing?
On my mobile device, the maximum I can view is 3 months, although the upper and lower parameters are much more appropriate.

YES! I wish I could look at the past 30 days and find out how many minutes I exercised in total. Right now, I have to look at the bar graph, estimate each bar, and then add them up manually. BLECH!

I LOVE MFP, but the reports I used on a different website were way more helpful. If we were to get those, it would be a happy and perfect place!

+1. I already put a post on report enhancements a while ago.
