I am lactose intolerant and am wondering if my protein powder could be bothering my stomach. I've been feeling bloated lately, and that's not necessarily the culprit because I have been eating more dairy than I should, but still, I am wondering if the whey proteins contain lactose.

You should be able to use Whey powder. Stay away from casein.

whey and casein are dairy. dairy is evil. in addition to bloating and gas, dairy also can cause acne, headaches and congestion.

there are dairy alternative protein powders. One I like is Spiru-tein.
