Another vote for Garmin Connect Integration smile
December 7, 2012 5:02 AM
I definately support this suggestion. Glad to see so much support here vs suggestions to link with other sites.

I agree! would like to see Garmin Connect!

Yes please!

I have a Garmin Forerunner 610 (the touch screen one) and definitely a big YES vote here from me!!!

Agreed

I was thinking the same thing. I use a Garmin 910 (the coolest fitness product on the planet that I could find). If it were me, I would seek to link to the devices/web sites that would bring the most users which of course will lead to bringing the most advertising revenue (factoring in the difficulty for development). So, I suspect Garmin is high on the list and coming soon.

Please add integration for the Garmin 610 forerunner

I received a Forerunner 10 for Christmas and just started using it and this site. I would be wonderful if the two could link!

Another vote from me. Garmin makes this easy, and because of this many many sites have Garmin integration. I can track my daily steps and my weight, being able to add my large chunks of exercise is the missing piece.

Just went for my first run with my new Garmin Forerunner 610 w/ heart rate monitor. Very nice device and connects effortlessly to GarminConnect.com which automatically uploads the detail of the run, including time, distance, pace, heart rate, calories, intervals... and then shows the run on a map. Very cool and surprisingly easy.

But... while GarminConnect allows you to tack weight, body composition, etc day by day and can upload this all from certain Tanita scales, it seems to do nothing in regards to food, calories - and every trainer says that nutrition is at least half the game.

MyFitnessPal is the easiest tool I've found to log nutrition. It would be super cool if they connected.

Another strong vote.... do it!

Shared data between Myfitnesspal and Garmin Connect would be a fantastic feature and would compliment both services.
C'mon guys - make it happen!

I add my vote here, too to sync with Garmin, but I'm not holding my breath. I've been hoping to have Runkeeper sync with My Fitness Pal for over a year as well, as do many others on this suggestion board, but I think these suggestions fall on deaf ears.

+1 for me too, this would be a dead useful feature

Adding my vote as well, new Garmin user here, and LOVING it!

Also - a cry for help! I have the Forerunner 410, is there a way to use it JUST as a HRM for indoor cardio (namely a spin class?) I can't seem to figure it out but it HAS to be possible, right??

Thanks!!

I replied to the post over on the Garmin site - I'm surprised the sync doesn't already exist considering all of the other technology we use to track exercise does it (even the free apps on my Android phone) - yet not my expensive Garmin watch, go figure!

YES I would love it!!! please!!!!

Hello, I downloaded the free Garnin client to transfer the workouts to Endomondo, I then linked my Endomondo to Myfitnesspal and hey presto. I have my workouts in Garmin, Endomondo and Myfitnesspal. Bets bit, they are all free.
