I cycle almost every day as my primary for of exercise rain or shine, summer or winter. I use the Edge 705 to record all my workout data including HR, distance, cadence, etc. It would be great if I could either upload this to MFP or synch the garmin connect site to MFP. Either way this would be a huge benefit is usability for you system.
Thanks. |

Definitely gets my vote. I use Garmin Connect daily and use the Tanita for weighing and measurements so would love to be able to use that with MFP. Otherwise don't see myself using MFP at the same level as Garmin. Great app for calorie tracking though, I'm so impressed compared with live strong.

Linking with Garmin connect would be great not to mention convenient. Almost every workout I do I track with my Garmin.

Yes please! I have all of my workouts synchronized to Garmin Connect with my Forerunner 310XT. I'd love to have an automatic sync to bring over my workouts and calorie data to MFP to apply to calorie totals each day.

I also use the Garmin 410. Love it lots, but if you do a lot of running in the big woods, it could be more accurate. It always says I'm running up to a minute per mile slower pace than I really am. On roads it seems spot on.

I use a slightly different setup that works very well. Digifit on the iPhone with the Garmin and Scosche HRMs, Garmin FootPod, Garmin Cycle computer. These can sync with Fitbit, which can sync with MFP. So my fooed goes in MFP with great detail, my exercise goes in Digifit with great detail. Fitbit sync's the two. This is very simple and has a lot of detail and flexability, baed on the exercises, etc. Works for everything.

I'm using this as my guide! Many thanks.. |

Still nothing on integrating Garmin Connect to MFP. Shame....
I am awaiting for a new Gamin watch to replace an existing Polar, reason being that the Polar Software is I think terrible, where Garmin seems really good... Also on fitbit, and I love their software as the Hub of my fitness life. Very clean UI. MFP works well for food intake... If Garmin could indeed integrate with MFP, this set up for me would certainly be a winner! |

Would love for MFP to have this feature (like right now)!!!
At the moment I am working around it by synching my Forerunner 405 with the Endomondo website which forwards the data to MFP (data appears almost immediately). However, if you enter data manually (e.g; recumbent cycling) to Endomondo it takes close to 24 hours for the data to appear in Exercise on MFP. p.s. - Yes, the touch Bezel is a pain sometimes!!! But I am primarily a Walker so I have less fits of anger then some. :)

Would just complete the package if it would connect with Garmin Connect. I have a 310XT and a Fenix and GC records any activity. Can't be bothered to enter it all by hand into MFP. Unfortunately I cannot use the Digifit approach mentioned in this thread as it's not available here in the UK app store.

I too have a 305 which has finally died, planning on getting another garmin for Christmas. syncing with MFP would be awesome and just complete my life.

I use a 405 until I can afford to get a 910. So +1 for MFP/GC auto sync.
