Rebekah's been in the doghouse a lot lately-- I mean A LOT-- middle child crud-- and upon talking to her this day it has been determined that she needs a Mommy Day-- so she's coming with me.

But, I have to share this-- when I asked her today, "Why? Why do you need to go so badly?"

She said, "Because you talk about these ladies all the time, and I want to meet them."

Lovely lunch. No butterflies in meeting people for the first time. It felt like seeing family. Lunch wasn't long enough. Everybody was exactly how I pictured them. No matter what she says, Marla looks great and is just like she is in all her posts. It was nice getting to meet her two girls. Hope came too. Sweet kids. Shuntae is gorgeous and looks fab. I liked seeing her smile when she talked about wedding plans. What a fun time. Donna is more elusive with pictures of herself but can tell you she is a spectacular looking gal with a beautiful smile.

I am so glad we did this!

I'm here! Everything went fine, but I feel a little funky. It's just a good excuse to be lazy the rest of the day. He said it all looks about the same as it did last time, and we'll get biopsy results in 10 to 14 business days. The one thing that's different from last time is he stretched my esophagus, and I think that's probably why I don't feel so great. I mentioned I was having a little difficulty swallowing sometimes. That'll teach me!

Of course, now people are sending me work, so I can't just go take a nap, but it's not like my work is physically demanding. I did get my workout in this morning, so I'm glad about that.

The lunch sounds like so much fun! Next time, let's do it on the West Coast!!!

ditto on what the ladies say here. I had such a nice time. Two hours flew by. Now if you guys would have started drinking with me we could've settled in for the night Marla, I do think we probably know each other from another life. it was so easy to talk to each and every one of you.

Tomorrow will be a sad day. Didn't tell you guys but an old colleague of mine from my old firm died this week. He was 45 years old. riding his mountain bike, in great shape...passed out and had a heart attack. leaving his wife of 20 years and 3 kids...13, 11 and 9....so sad.

Team-- as was said above, we chatted like the old friends we all are-- no butterflies, no jitters. We got shown to our table, ordered our lunch, and we were off and running.

Donna-- Aaron got home before his father, and son of a gun if that topic just somehow didn't come up at dinner-- go figure. So sad about your colleague-- 45? Crap-- so wrong. So, so wrong.

need to get busy-- we have a friend coming in Friday-- I thought he was coming in the evening, but he'll be here 'bout noon, so I need to get my head on straight and figure out meals, blah, blah, blah-- tomorrow is my day now to get his room cleaned, shop, et cetera--

Wow team we are amazing..Look at that amazing picture you all look beatuiful, just as fanatastic as kaylynne was a few weeks ago.. Sorry I have been mia I have been truly enjoying sleeping in and then working and then doing my own sorta workout at home in evening then its time to eat dinner and head off to bed. But I am here, and with me working on phones all day long especially the phone I own, I really dont care to see it when I get off from work.. when you test 180 phones a day thats alot..

I cant say how amazing this team is and thanks for keeping all of our heads up, yes each day is a struggle but we make it what it is.. So I am proud to say that I am part of the black team..

Easy day at work in at 5 break at 730 meeting at 830 til 930 break at 10 lunch at 1215 break at 145 and then home for the weekend, I am helping honey tomorrow inexchange for my panera bread salad..If they get rid of this salad they better get one just as good in its place..

great pictures you guys, Everyone looks great! Glad you all got there and thanks for sharing. Grandchildren here last night. Gettting ready to go camping . I was looking at pictures of myself when I was in my 30's, and trying to figure out when and why I started to binge and gain. Surely it was emotions. but here I am hauling around an extra 40 pounds .....life is good now , so what is my excuse. .........guess I will take it one day at a time....TODAY IS MINE

I'm feeling more like myself. I felt fine after my endoscopy, but I think I needed a full night's sleep to shake all the effects of the sedation. Glad I did, too, because I have a pretty good amount of work to do this morning. Then I'll be taking Andrea and my mom to the train this afternoon for a trip to Salem to visit my mom's sister. They'll be back Sunday evening. I hope they have a good time!

Andrea got called in to work at the veterinary hospital again yesterday evening. I'm glad she'll eventually (maybe sooner than later) be able to get her shift back, but I'd sure rather see her get something with more sane hours, or at least not a split shift. It's certainly better than nothing, and she is eager to go back.

Well, I'd better get to work on my job so I have time to fit my workout in before it's time to take the "girls" to the train.
