does anyone know how much a 1/4 of dry basmati brown rice equals (cup wise) when cooked???...it's kindof like the pasta question that pops up every now and then.

Thanks to anyone that can help

I think it doubles. Don't quote me on that but I think that is right.

I cook mine in chicken stock with fresh parsley. Rather tastey

I think white rice tastes much MORE bland. I cook mine with a bit of light margarine and I throw in finely chopped bell peppers just when the water starts to boil. yummy
