does anyone know how much a 1/4 of dry basmati brown rice equals (cup wise) when cooked???...it's kindof like the pasta question that pops up every now and then.

I think it doubles. Don't quote me on that but I think that is right.

I heard the same thing...I think it doubles...when you cook it you have to post us and let us know?

Anyone know how to make Brown Rice not taste bland and gross?

Definitely boil in some type of stock..chix, beef, veg...then I like to put a little tomato paste and parm cheese....and some olive oil
