I think your app fried my blackberry. Yesterday, using the app, my blackberry Bold 9780 OS 6 was relaoding over and over searching for food. Today I went to use it and got an app error 606. Basically, something wiped my BB. I had to reload the OS to get it working again. I spoke to support at Telus and they said it was a third party app. So either it was MFP or Groupon that fried me. I'm hesitant to add it again.

Hi There,

I'm having real problems with the app too, which is a shame because I really like it! I get the no connection issue, and endless update problem (which seems worse on wi-fi??) an endless food search problem, in fact anything I want to do on it takes ages. Sometimes it even locks up my phone! Curve 9300 and OS6

Is there a way to complete my entry on the Blackberry App? I have no issues with logging all of my food and excersice but I can't seem to find out how to "submit" or "complete the entry". Thanks!

There is no option to do this on the BB mobile app at this time

am getting an UNEXPECTED ERROR when i try to log in using my blackberry bold. i loaded the MyFitnessPal, LLC 1.0 but decided to uninstall given that whether i sign up as current or new user, i get the UNEXPECTYED ERROR message.

can anyone assist me?

Wow -- really? No way to complete logging for the day on the BB app? That's like building a car without brakes. When will this "enhancement" be offered?

I get the unexpected error whenever i'm on edge instead of wifi. It's unusable unless i have a wifi connectiom :(

I have the same problem on my Blackberry Style. Even though I have a 3G connection, MFP will only work if I am using a WiFi connection.

Hey I am getting the same problem with my BB Storm...when I load the app and try to log in it gives some error!!! Would be nice to have on my phone!!! Help!!

Same connection issue with my BBerry torch, only works when connected to wi-fi. Are there any updates coming to enable the bar code scanning ?

I am getting the same error "MyFitnessPal requires a connection to the internet. Please connect to a WiFi or 3G/Edge network." I have a Blackberry 9700 on a 3G network. When I first installed it, it was working fine. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I haven't logged on to the site in about 2 weeks now because the app has stopped working and I can't login. How can this issue be resolved?

Same problem. Wifi works great. 3G does not work.

I did the update two days ago from BB Bold 9900. At first I couldn't get the app to load on my home screen (I had to run it via Blackberry App World), so I had to delete and re-install twice. Then it was fine.

Today, it suddenly (in a span of 2 hours) decided to delete all my goals and the names of my meals-- now it is back to default settings, BUT my settings in the website are still correct.

And as I was typing this it went back to the way it should, but if it flips back again, I will update that here.

I've had this app on my old BB Tour, and I've had it on this model since August without any other issues.

Love how there's now a "Complete my entry" function!!

i have just upgraded my blackberry to a bold 9900 and i love the phone...but I cant get this app on my phone now!!! HELP! searched all one word and nada....

Well, I hooked up to my company's WiFi on my BB Curve 8520. Got past the first "error" message that everyone (even myself) has been complaining about. Then went to my daily food diary. It decided to keep checking status over and over again! All of a sudden I get a message that says "An error occurred in the Application and has been logged. Error: Error trying to resolve." Click OK and got to add food.... checks status again..... same ERROR MESSAGE AGAIN!!! Click ok and, and get the original message of "An unexpected error occurred and has been logged. Please contact technical support if this problem persists." At this point everything is FROZEN and I can't even click on the OK button.

Technical support has to get this fixed!!! Who's going to use your app if it's messing up our phones, etc.???

I have the most current Blackberry and OS. Myfitnesspal has frozen and the screen is locked on a message saying:
"An unexpected error occurred and has been logged. Please contact technical support if the problem persists". It give you the option of selecting okay but nothing happens. The app is frozen. Powering off the phone and rebooting does not help. Please advise.

Resetting your BlackBerry should resolve the issue:

Hold Alt + RightShift + Delete for several seconds.

Then, please use the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page to reach us by email, as we'd like to collect some diagnostic data and offer a few options that are best communicated by email, to preserve your privacy.

i found it in the myworld- as I had already downloaded it previously and they trasnfered all my phone pieces back! try that
ps i LOVE the 9900 as well
what a SUPER phone!

I too have the 9900.
I cannot get the MFP app to work if I use 3G/edge/BIS.
I CAN use it if I use wifi. But thats a bit pointless because the times I have wifi I also have access to my computer so why would I bother with a phone app??
I know I can use the webpage on the phone but its quite time consuming.
I did send the details to MFP (logged query on website then responded to their email) but have heard nothing further.
PLEASE fix it???
