i've been trying to enter my own food/nutritiional info and am frustrated that i cannot add food according to the ounces of food rather than "cup" notations....i end up putting that standard even tho its' wrong. would there be a way to circumvent this or to allow more flexibility for serving sizes?

You can put any serving size you wish you if you are entering your own food. You just enter 1 teaspoon or 1 ounce, etc. where it says "serving size."

What serving size are you trying to enter? Can you type it in EXACTLY as you are trying to enter it so that I can see what you are trying to enter? You should be able to enter ounces without any problem.

i've tried 1 ounce, 1 oz, sample bar (the one i tried today for a small clif bar of which i have many....) and it appeared to only want something like a "cup" or a traditional measure. i even tried using grams, as that info was on the wrapper, but i couldn't get it to take that either.....thanks for your help, i really do like this website! i'm so glad a friend told me about it!! :)

You definitely should be able to put a size like "1 ounce" in. What happened when you tried to enter that as a serving size? Can you try it again and let me know if you still have that problem?
