I am wondering how I can keep the calorie's burned daily through exercise seperate from my daily calorie intake in my food diary?

you can't do that on MFP, but if you want them separate for whatever reason, you could make a word file to store that info in on your computer or keep a hand written diary of them.

Yep, MFP is designed to make sure you give your body enough "fuel" by eating enough, so eating your exercise calories is a must to ensure you don't run your body down. That's why you can't keep them separate in your food diary.

You can, however, pull up a separate report showing both total calories consumed vs. net calories eaten.

thanks for the info and good idea to keep track on my word pad each day....

I need to go and take a look again b/c I thought it meant I needed to eat the calories I had just burned off????
