I notice that there are some foods that offer choices between different serving sizes ... How do I edit an exiting food to reflect a different serving size ... do i have to enter it as a new food item? ... thanks in advance, Ron

Once you chosen it, you should be able to edit the serving size before you select to have it added to your food diary. If you forgot to do that, then just click on the food in your food diary, and then you can change the serving size there.

I think he was wanting to know how to update the data base. It's silly to have 5 apples out there because some people measure by the oz. and others by the diameter etc.

There isn't a way to do that currently, but it's something I would like to add at some point. Wish I could give you a better answer, but at the moment, all you can do is wait until I'm able to add it in.
