Does anyone know how many calories you burn using the shake-n-weight for the 6 minute program?

I wore my HRM last night while doing the Shake Weight. I even did the last part of the video where you go for "the burn". I only burned about 60 calories, so I figured the calories burned are not worth logging. Sorry to disappoint you!

However, I did find this: http://www.prlog.org/10531012-leading-research-company-lifemodeler-inc-releases-study-proving-effectiveness-of-shake-weight.html

I hope this helps!

Products like this are just silly. Anything that promises to burn more calories and help you lose weight without any extra effort is just a gimmick. Stick with frequent cardio/aerobic exercise combined with appropriate strength training along with a healthy diet (quantity and quality) and that will set you up to lose the weight you need.

I'd be very curious to see the actual study - just because a company says they have 2 studies proving their product is effective doesn't mean much. I'd have to see their methodology and their actual results before buying into any of their claims.

Maybe if you jog in place for 30 minutes while doing it you'll lose more than 50 calories.

Well, they might help your sex life but I don't think there's any benefit outside of that.
