Is there a function where I can search the foods I have already added to MY database. Scrolling through all of the foods I have added is a pain.

Yes, I agree--this is needed. Sometimes I spend a long time searching the database to find just the right entry that matches that food for me. Then a month or two later if I eat the same food, it takes me forever to find it in my foods. I have to sort A to Z or Z to A, and then repeatedly scroll and hit Show More. How about at least adding a Show All option? Thanks.

Yes, yes, yes ,yes PLEASE!!!!!! We eat thousands of different kinds of foods, or brands. It is unfortunate that you either have to spend way too much time searching your own datebase, or enter the same food twice! I think a search in "MY Foods" would be an absolutely amazing addition to this website!!

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll add it to my weekly report which includes feature requests. I can't guarantee a timeline, as the feature request list is LONG, but we're constantly chipping away at it.

Hello, any progress on searching our own foods? This would be a real time saver. Thanks.

My apologies I do not have an update for you.
Our team has currently been focusing on the the scalability and stability of the site's underpinnings. This may make it appear as though "user" requested features have been ignored. I assure you once they finish up with this project it will be on to improving the front facing piece of the program. I will definitely pass your suggestion on. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. I agree. This is where MFP falls on its face. It's a feature I really miss after switching from Lose It!.

Agreed. Also that you can only view it by that meal. Nothing is worse than making a homemade recipe, entering it in as dinner, and having it as lunch the next day and having to enter the entire recipe back in.

Can't you click on the button underneath the food database dialog box to toggle between 'Lunch' (for example) and 'All Meals', and once it is showing 'All Meals' then click on the 'Recent' Tab? That gives me the last 25 things I have added to my diary for all meals and I can easily select (for example) what I had for dinner yesterday onto lunch today. Or have I misunderstood what you're asking?
