TOPIC: Samsung S3 Myfitnesspal app problems

Ever since I got my samsung siii, I have had problems logging in or syncing Myfitnesspal. It works perfectly on my iPad, and did on my other phone as well. Does anyone have a fix to this, it's really frustrating! It never warns to sync, I tried reinstalling and now it won't even let me login, I just get an error that says "we were unable to connect you to the server to log you In."

I'm sorry I can't help - I have an S3 and have never really had any problems with the app on the phone.

I have an S3 too and don't have an issue.

I have trouble with my S3 too and have yet to find a solution.

I've been having the same issue! I have the S3 and run Android version 4.3. I think I'm going to uninstall and reinstall to hopefully fix it. I never use the app anymore because it's so frustrating!

Although I have a Samsung S2, after a recent update I was having the same issue (having to log in every time I looked at the app). As mentioned above, I did uninstall and re-download and the problem was solved.

I was having problems and I found it was because I disables all my updates. So, I updated it, but I was still having issues, so I just uninstalled and reinstalled it and now it works fine. I have an LG Optimus.

It used to work great but hasn't worked worth a darn for a couple few months now. As they told me, you can log in through the internet on your phone. *shrugs* They have a point but *whines*

same here, no issues. The bar code scanner is wonky sometimes, but not the app itself.

Huge bump! So I can get notifications and updates on my phone as though I am logged into Myfitnesspal even though I am not! It lets me know that someone comments on my status or updates but wont even let me login lol what gives?

Same here, it's refusing to let me even login. I can see responses through email, or even a notification now and then but nothing else.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, it worked for three minutes then stopped again. It works beautifully on my tablet, but definitely not on the phone.

Your better off logging in through the internet to the site,the only thing that will save you time is if you check the keep me logged in..I google it and that was the best answer you have,I have the 4s and it is prompting me to upgrade my IOS,If I do that I will have to pay for every Appt.
