If you are not already planning to do so, can you please include support for the upcoming Samsung Gear 2 SmarWatch and Gear Fit? They both include a heartrate monitor, in addition to the usual fitness/phone sensors.

Thanks.

Yes I hope they are working on this. I started getting the FitBit Rash but want one with heart rate monitor. Til then I turned the fitbit around to the inside of my wrist and the rash has cleared up so I am good for now.

Yes Please!! I put my Fitbit One in the washer and dryer this week and since I just ordered the S5, I plan to replace it with the new Samsung Gear 2 smartwatch... since it's got the pedometer and heart rate sensor.. Just need it to be compatible here!!

I am in the same boat to where I will return the fitbit force to get the samsung gear 2. I really hope they integrate it into the app!

I will be checking back here to see if anything happens, i am currently using the Ki Fit bodymedia (UK based) and am going to get the galaxy gear fit, run them side by side and if there is not much difference I will switch to using just the Galaxy and save myself £10 to £15 a month on the subscription to the Ki module.

+1. We'd love to see support for Galaxy Fit.

I just found out that now Galaxy Fit now supports portrait mode as well. This looks really good.

I've got a gear fit on my wrist now! I hope that mfp is going to support this device.

Just purchased the Gear 2 Neo. I had great success with the Bodymedia Fit but it was not practical to continue wearing once I lost the weight I wanted. Hoping MFP supports this device. They are basically giving them away with some Samsung S5 packages. Time to cancel the monthly subscription on the BMF $10/mo ouch!

Would love to know when Samsung Gear Fit data integration will be made available now that I switch from Jawbone UP to Gear Fit

I just found this thread and would get the Gear Fit if there is support at MFP

Yes please! I lost my fitbit One then the Force was recalled so I picked up the Gear Fit. The only down side is not having an app that integrates the info I'm already collecting from my FitBit Aria.

I also would love to see support for the new line of Samsung smartwatches. I just purchased the Gear Fit to replace my recalled Fitbit Force, but currently I am wearing both devices because the lack of myfitnesspal integration for the Gear Fit.

I would love to see support for this soon, because the MFP community and food library is so much more extensive than S Health!

(If it isn't possible to have a calorie adjustment within the MFP app like the other trackers, I would love to be able to import MFP meals into S Health. I currently use the Fitbit app which has this capability.)

Any chance of this happening?

I have a Gear Fit and would love it to work. As far as I understand Samsung have released the APIs for both the Gear Fit and S Health.

Any plans please?????

I would really like to know as well. I have been searching for this topic and answer since getting the Samsung gear 2 on launch day April 11th. I was using the fitbit before like others here but desired a little more. Now that I have it, thinking when I got it there would be some support from my favorite fitness app. To my disappointment I'm not able to find anything out or get a response from MFP.

If you go with the Samsung make sure you buy a bitbelt jr to protect the clasp from coming undone. It's the cheapest insurance available for an over $200 tracker. Check the out www.bitbelt.biz

Another voice hoping for Gear Fit integration. Force is being returned thanks to that skin rash problem.

+1 for Gear Fit support. I realize that the fit just launched. So, I figure that MFP will have integration in place by June.

Another request here for Samsung Gear 2 and Gear Fit support. I just got my new Galaxy S5 and have the wrist devices on order. :)

I'll throw my request in as well. Haven't bought my fitness tracker yet, and MFP support is one of the important deciding factors...

For those with the S5 and gear fit you will have instant access to the S Health App that, while not as comprehensive as MFP, is a decent alternative while MFP updates their devices list. Unfortunately, for everyone who has a different Samsung Galaxy phone, like the S4 or Note series the S Health app isn't syncing with the gear fit. They have another app called "Fitness with Gear" which gives an at-a-glance view of the gear fit data. But, doesn't include any options to input data, like food, other exercise, weight gain/loss, etc...

C'mon Samsung you're better than this!!! Don't release products without the proper application support...

Thanks for the tip! Unfortunately, following this will result ina gap in our MFP data or the need to put the data in manually. What is this, the twentieth century? o=)

Picking up my Neo 2 Gear on Monday and really hoping that MFP will start supporting this app.

Have a fitbit force, love it but the price tag on the Neo was hard to resist!
