Does anyone know how many calories are burned through Yoga Booty Ballet? I have the whole set and even big girls can do it. It's really fun and gets my heart rate going.

It's really hard to say. . .as everyone burns calories differently, depending on their size and fitness level.

I would log it as "low impact aerobics" if it's one of the "hiphop and abs" or "cardio cabaret" type ones, logging only the time you're moving, and log the rest of it as "calisthenics-home-light effort" That will give you a good guesstimate for now. I wouldn't count the warm-up or cool-down portions, as your heart rate isn't up, and calorie burn is really all about getting your heart rate elevated.

They are so silly and fun. I use them when I feel like not working out. It's kind of hard to stay in a bad mood, as those girls are pretty wacky.flowerforyou

The best way to find out is to get a heart rate monitor... everyone burns a different amount of cals based on their weight and the effort put into it... Polar is the best that I have heard of and walmart has one with a chest strap for about 45 dollars... not high end but it will give you the answers you want...

Good luck...
