My husband and I work full time, have two small children, and want to get into shape. Is this a good program to try for two busy people who don't exercise much at all? I'd love to hear your results stories!

You would probably benefit more from a weight training program, but T25 is better than no exercise at all. I generally use T25 as a cardio supplement.

Keep in mind that weight loss is from diet, not exercise.

Yes, it is a cardio and strength training exercise and it has Tanya who shows you the modified movements. I used it and loved it so much I got GAMMA for the Strengthening portion.

I should probably also mention that we have no intentions of joining a gym. We don't live close to one, and frankly do not want to deal with the hour long round trip commute it would entail.

Thats fine..

What are your fitness goals?

My fitness goals are to feel comfortable in my work pants and not mind wearing a bikini during the summer. I am about 5'8" and about 135-140 pounds. I know it's not a very lofty goal, but I would just like to be comfortable in the clothes I own (and used to feel perfectly comfortable in).

My hubs would like to lose quite a few pounds - probably in the neighborhood of 50. At one point two summers ago he randomly started the C25K program and lost about 30-35, but he's stopped running and gained it all back. He would run after I got home from work so I could watch the kids, but it was seriously cutting into the only time we have to spend with our children.

For you - set your account to 1/2 -1 lb per week and lightly active, do not eat exercise calories and set macro's to 40% carbs, 30% protein and fats.

Husband should be 1 - 1.5 lbs per week, same activity (unless he has an active job) and same macro's.

Depending how much definition you want, you might struggle with results with T25. You are close to underweight for your height and a few bulk/cut phases might provide better results.. at that point, body beast would be better. But you can evaluate that after you do the program.
