I am using the iphone and ipad app mostly. As I often use ingredients in my recipes that I use frequently in my diary it would be handy if they'd come up as well when you type in your ingredients for recipes. If I haven't used an ingredient for a while and don't remember which one of the entries I took the last time (as there are many wrong entries around) I have to go back and look for it. It takes some time anyway to measure stuff and put it all together and that would make it soooo much easier and quicker. Nevertheless: Great page and app! It's so easy and healthy to lose weight, thanks to you guys :)

Would love more exercises to choose from when logging workouts - Even just the more popular ones (P90X, Insanity, Jillian Michaels workouts). Thanks!

I just started weightlifting I would be nice if MFP could sync with a weightlifting tracker like BodySpace or MyWorkout, etc. Any type of app that could track how long what type and how much weight I use so maybe the calories burned could be a little more accurate rather than just saying "weightlifting"

It would be very nice to have a new report showing in a pie chart how my nutrition has compared to my macro goals...similar to how it is shown on my Android device but with a more flexible date range...

What I would like to see is instead of showing me what my weight would be in 5 weeks if everyday were like today, I'd like to see what my weight would be on my target date using cumulative calorie reports from days past. Kind of a running score with the end date being my target date..not resetting every day in both calories and time.

Is this possible?

I would love to have Net Carbs as something I can track, yes I know it's simple subtraction, but it NEEDS to be there.

I would like to setup my custom diet by macros instead of percentages. Ex: I want 180 Carbs 50 fat and 230 protein... in order to get that exact number I have to manipulate total calories and percentages and get it as close as possible. Annoying and time consuming... and when all I want to do is take off 10 grams of carbs, I have to go through it all again.

PLEASE move the "quick add" option to the top of the food list, having to scroll through all my recent foods to get to it makes it not quick at all.

Also whenever I try to change the unit of measurements, say from 100g to 1g on a particular food, and then add it to my diary it'll still come up as the original measurement. It's a mini hear attack to see that my 4g of butter suddenly put me at -1245 calories because the app added it in as 400 grams instead.

I had the same issue then I discovered that if you go under "my foods" (and don't have a lot of "my foods") the quick add button is right there.

This script allows you to change your custom macro goals by increments of 1%, also allows you to set them based on grams as well: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/176696 (If you use Chrome, you need to install TamperMonkey)

This script provides you with a percentage count for your macros, as well as a new column for 'net carbs'. Also adjusts the pie chart at the bottom of each diary page. In the meantime.

Several progress measurements in one shot, as requested by somebody in October 2013 (replied to her but it seems there is only global reply).
It's annoying to go back and forth between each measurement.

Also to the person that says to track body fat percentage, it's totally possible, to add your custom measurements (I think that you can only put them via the website tho, can't remember).
I measure Skinfolds for three parts of the body and also other stuff like Systloic and Dyastolic.
One of the main reasons I use MFP really, since other apps/services will get you stuck with their 3 or 4 measurements and that's it.


The main feature I'd like to see implemented is a year or something report of a measurement, to track say how was your weight fluctuation in a whole YEAR (not 3 months) and also be able to export that.
I know there is a "hack" (basically a URL that goes straight to an XML with your data) but a proper, official way would be fantastic.

A way to reset my profile to start afresh would be nice. Debating deleting mine only to create a new one because this isn't available.

It would be great if there was a copy entire day option from one day to another instead of copying each of my 6 meals every day. I start with a typical base and massage it based on what is available throughout the day and my activity level. THANKS!!!

Make the recipe section on the website actually look like a recipe and allow for a printable version with the nutrition box included. I used to use SparkPeople and they do this really well.

On the app, give us the ability to edit a recipe. My app either crashes while I am creating a recipe or I will accidentally push the check mark instead of the plus mark and the recipe is locked unfinished. It really bothers me...maybe also be able to add a picture to the recipe from the app.

I use the ipad app exclusively so I'm not sure about the web application. But I'm wondering if there were any plans to add a daily planning feature? Where I can add what I'd like to eat (maybe it would show up in a different color?) just to be sure I'm within my goals for the day.. and then check them off as I consume them, or i could delete if I skipped it, etc?? Right now i just put it in as if I had consumed it, but it is visually confusing and can lead to under consuming accidentally. I've always been told, "start the day with a plan"

Android app: More of an annoyance than anything... Being able to add multiple food items at once. For example, going to add eggs for breakfast and not being able to (check) add associated items from the same screen. They currently have to be added separately.
