Hi

As an adacemic public health professional, I want my fitness tech to be comprehensive and accurate. I like fitnesspal but feel I must be missing something as i cannot find where the daily / weekly fitness goals take into account the calories one needs to burn. my screen just shows projected weight loss from calorie intake and From Normal Daily Activity. I am assuming the normal daily activity does not include physical activity / exercise. to get a true picture of projected weight loss and therefore weight loss planning- one needs to look at calories burned from physical activity.

please comment. thank you.

MFP cuts your deficit and then gives you the net calories with the idea that you can then eat your exercise calories and still have the original deficit.
