TOPIC: Can you add "times" to meals and snacks?

I'm wondering if you could add times, AM/PM, to meals and snacks, so we can keep track of what time we're eating, and spacing food out.

I too want timing. There was a thread started by MFP that asked if users would like that functionality so hopefully we will get it soon.

If MFP could allow us to input the time then my Tictrac and Jawbone UP accounts would show more meaningful data. I had to unlink my UP because of this. My dinner posted at 6pm automatically and Jawbones 8 hour time difference saw it at 2am and came out of sleep mode!

It would be awesome. My nutritionist wants "times" on all of my food logging, and it's the only thing missing from myfitnesspal.

I can print out all of my logging for her, but there are not times on it.

If you are consistent about the times you eat you can just name the meals and snacks those times.

Calls for too much thinking. I sometimes wonder, if only people would spend a little time going through what is available on MFP, some of the suggestions would not be necessary..

Wow! LoL! Yes. I'm serious. It would be great to have a slot for time here.

And Whomever didn't want to use it, could just *skip* the time slot.

Is this what it's like whenever you make a suggestion?............ ohwell

How about just log it in your notes when you ate your meals?????

You can rename your meals into time blocks. I have 6x 4 hour blocks in mine to help me when I am switching shifts at work because I will not always eat at the same times everyday. If you sleep about the same hours everyday you could even make those blocks smaller time frames.

I changed my meal names to time periods. So they are blocked from midnight to 4:00 am, 4:00 am to 8:00 am, 8:00 am to noon, Noon to 4:00 pm, 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and 8:00 pm to midnight. If you don't find yourself eating in the middle of the night, you can block your time periods to smaller increments.
