Alright, I see sooooo many posts with people asking how to post pictures. It's actually not too difficult. All you need is a picture a image-hosting website. Here we go:

Hosting the Picture

1) Go to an image-hosting site (for example, photobucket or tinypic- photobucket requires making an account). Upload your picture. To do this, click the button that says "Browse" and choose your photo from there. When you have selected your photo and clicked "OK", click the UPLOAD button.
2) Wait until it is completely loaded and shows you a bunch of different codes. We're going to use the URL that's called IMG (or Image) code. Highlight the entire code, right click, and click "copy".

Placing the Picture on MFP
1) Get onto your favorite board or wherever you would like to post the picture, and start your message. Now, right click inside this typing/text box, and click "Paste", The code that you coped earlier should show up. You may notice that the code looks something like this: (without the spaces)

[ IMG ] http://i48.tinypic.com/qqebzq.jpg [ /IMG ]

Well, that's all fine and dandy, except that we can't have those capital letters in there.

2) Take the code that you have down, and change the capital IMG to lowercase img (on both ends of the code), so that it looks something like this: (without the spaces)

[ img ] http://i48.tinypic.com/qqebzq.jpg [ /img ]

3) Write whatever else you feel like writing in the space, then click the Post button, and you're done!!

Not too hard, right?

For those of you that are visual people, here's a picture. To view the code, click "Quote" on my post, and you will see the code here at the bottom:

I made this tutorial detailed because I know we have some not-so tech-savvy MFP users. I hope I helped some people!

So how do you re-size the photo? I posted one yesterday and the only thing it shows are my legs in supersize (instead of all of me in normal size!)

Well, when the photo is saved on your computer, you can do this: (2 options)

1) Go to the folder where your photo is located. Right click on the photo, and click "Edit". This will open it up in Microsoft Paint. From there, click "Resize" and change the percentages.
Then follow the steps to upload the photo and put it on MFP.

2) On TinyPic there check box to "resize photo". I've never tried it and I don't know how well it works.
Actually scratch that- I'll test it out now.

Okay, TinyPic has an option to resize the photo to an array of sizes. Here's their version of "message board" size:

And it's perfect!

How long have the photos been on photobucket? And how many photos do you have on photobucket? Oh, and how many views has your photo received?

If the picture has been on photobucket too long, or you have too many photos, or your photo has been viewed too many time, photobucket will remove the picture. It's why I prefer TinyPic.

Hmmm... I have followed this tutorial, signed up on photobucket and uploaded the pics, tried to put them in my blog post, but it keeps trying to make them a link. So it'll say: with everything after the first "" as a link, and I can't get it to stop appearing that way.

Anyone had this problem or know how to fix it?

It is in my most recent blog post if that helps.

Thanks!!
