I am attempting to sync myfitnesspal with RunKeeper, but it doesn't seem to sync. Any suggestions how to make that work?

It wasn't working earlier this morning for me, but I just tried it again and it worked.

I was able to link MFP to Runkeeper, but today I logged an activity in Runkeeper and it didn't sync to MFP...


I revoked the access, and tried linking again, but this time, from Runkeeper's page. It asked MFP for authorization to read and write on my journals, and that fixed it -I guess-. My logged activities on RK now show up on my diary here happy

Syncing with Runkeeper is not working for me either. I tried revoking access and re-linking (making sure to select allow read/write access), but it's still not working for me. My runkeeper runs don't appear in my MFP account.

There was another post from Scott I think that said they are aware of the issue and so is Runkeeper and they are working to fix it. I hope they get it fixed soon too :).

Yeah, still not working. I am able to log my weight and foods in MFP, and they go to RK, but the exercise I did with RK today did not come over to MFP.

Hi Would it be possible to provide info on how to sync. My runs doesn't show for some reason?

My sync is sporadic. Sometimes it syncs and sometimes it does not.

And sometimes when I go to add the excersize from RK into MFP it will not be there initially and when I save the RK sync seemed to have happened.

Maybe PPL should add how the RK data is being added.

It's never worked right for me. It's synced a few times but even then it sometimes syncs to the wrong day.

MFP says they're working on it, then on the other hand they respond to threads asking users to describe the problem and/or relink the accounts which I've tried 6 times.

I hope they can figure it out. Or at least admit if there's a problem.

I agree an update would be could, I have also tried to resync a few times with no joy.

I'm recieving emails advising how they now work together but unfortunatley haven't had the chance to see it working

Used to work, not any more. I have tried everything I could find suggested online short of uninstall/reinstall. It was so elegant....

iPhone 5 lastest everything software wise.

Same here. I have unlinked the accounts, and relinked them, at one point it synced again but RunKeeper information was showing on the previous day in MFP.

I am emailing support inquiring about this issue, will post any replies I get.

So it turned out that my problem today was with RunKeeper, it had not uploaded the data from my phone to the web. Once the data was uploaded, it was synced with MFP, BUT for the previous day, and with the wrong time.

I have had issues with wrong date/time with Runkeeper (and Runtastic when I used that). It seemed, to me, that there is an issue with Timezone. For some reason an application is exporting data in GMT or current timezone, and MFP is expecting the opposite.

It seems the same issue is going on here (when export is working).

It would be helpful if the syncing would give more information (display date and time information) to help track down this issue.

Our engineers put in a fix for the timestamp oddities users were reporting, we are hopeful that they have since been resolved. Can you please let me know if you are still experiencing an offset timestamp?

Looks like its back to manual entry for me. 3rd day in a row syncing has messed up for me.

I am having problems syncing also. I unlinked accounts than relinked this morning .. and about an hour later it worked because it ported over my AM run but this evening i did another run - about 2 hours ago - and it still hasn't shown up. I don't relish relinking accounts every-time i want to sync an activity between MFP and runkeeper.

I also have found syncing with Runkeeper to be very slow. I completed a bike ride 45 minutes ago and it still has not shown up on MFP. I tried unconnecting and reconnecting my accounts but it still hasn't synced.

Hi Folks,

Sorry for any issues. There is no user error going on here, we have identified an issue with timestamp since Tommy's last post. We have been working behind the scenes to streamline time stamping between our program and our partner programs. Until we can release a bug fix for both the iPhone and Android app, exercise start times will be inconsistent. This may lead to certain exercise not posting at all to MyFitnessPal, however most exercises will sync, but may have the incorrect exercise start time.

In order to make sure your exercise start time is correct you will need to adjust it on the web. This will ensure that wherever we send that exercise, like Fitbit or Up, the incorrect time will correct. Right now the correction can only be done via the web.

My apologies for the error and any subsequent confusion. We are working to fix this.
